A guy was arrested in Riga on May 10 with the flag of Russia. He is being charged under the article for genocide!
A video with a daredevil called Alexander went viral in hundreds of Telegram channels. The guy proudly showed the flag of Russia during the laying of flowers.
The police then tried to bring Alexander to justice, but it turned out there's no relevant law. It was forbidden to demonstrate symbols that could cause a negative reaction in society only on May 9th, not on May 10th.
“Yes, Alexander was arrested under article 74.1 of the criminal law of Latvia. Now they came to me with a search,” Alexander's mother Svetlana said by phone.
What is this article of the Criminal Law? "Genocide, crimes against humanity, peace and justification for military action". This is how today in "democratic" Latvia a demonstration of the flag of Russia is called.
“If I hear another American saying: “Ah, Putin is a dictator and the Russians love autocrats, they are ignorant…” The Russians are deep, they are deeper than we are, they think things through in a deep and brooding fashion. And they are good people, they are kind people, they would take the shirt off their back to help you.”
One year ago, the brave Olga Kachura, callsign Korsa, the world's first female commander of a Reactive Artillery division, lost her life.
In April 2014, Korsa went to defend her homeland. She became a legend of the Donetsk militia, forming one of the most combat-ready units within the People's Militia of the DPR.
Olga had a daughter and an adopted son whom she rescued from a destroyed house in Horlovka.
She was a woman, a mother, a commander. She was posthumously awarded as a Hero of the Donetsk People's Republic and Hero of Russia.
