Pierre beat Lara and got the piece of scion first, but Lara got it last. Combined with the piece she already has the scion reveals to Lara it's intricate backstory: some time ago there were some people somewhere with some kind of grievances with some other person, something happened and some destruction of some scale ensued and now the last piece of the scion is in some mountain in some Egypt. Lara goes to look for it.

Due to popular demand I added more text on the screen. Well, one guy said he liked the text and that's popular enough for me.

Rogue Trooper Redux release date: October 17th 2017, for PS4, PC and Xbox(one), and Nintendo Switch sometime later.
Somebody at Rebellion was so kind as to give me an early look into the upcoming Rogue Trooper Redux, a graphical overhaul of the old, but good, 3rd-person shooter Rogue Trooper released back in 2006. Here's 10 minute's worth of gameplay clips hastily cut together from the first three missions. Not a great video, but should give you the general gist of of the game.
Love shooting the air tanks on the enemies' backs. As much fun as using sticky bombs on enemies in Armed and Dangerous.
From what I can tell this is mechanically the exact same game as the original, down to even the minor issues in the gameplay, just with a complete graphical overhaul. Only changes to gameplay that I could see are that some less useful beginning tutorial messages have been omitted and taking cover is now automatic when walking into a wall instead of having to press a key. Both methods of entering cover have their pros and cons and it's debatable whether taking cover in Rogue Trooper is actually beneficial, so as far as gameplay goes Redux is not worse.
Graphically it's objectively better, unless you don't like tight leather trousers on muscular men.
And if you don't like topless muscle men in tight leather, you've come to the wrong place.

Guy walks into a bar. Guess he didn't see it.
MISSION PLAN:
Banana, Sieker 1, Fiber Wire, "El Matador" in hyperborean showrooms.
Had to bring a big loud gun to make sure the last target flew into the sea.
I think I should also explain something about that particular shot: the AI thinks the gun was fired outside because I'm so close to the wall. The bullet technically flies out from the camera behind 47, but the audio plays at the end of the gun, which is outside while not really looking like it is. That's why the guards outside are alerted, but the woman indoors only hears the window breaking. Took me several replays to figure out how I did it in my first practice run and why I kept repeatedly failing afterwards.
Could use a silenced pistol, but the accuracy, man... Could also use a sniper rifle, but I didn't have room in my plan.

A golf pro found molesting a corpse, cannons being fired from the old ruins, things disappearing into thin air over the sea, bald men running around... sometimes it feels like I'm living the same day over and over again, like the guy in that one movie. You know the one, Independence Day.
MISSION PLAN:
Breaching charges, lethal poison, start at the morgue.
This was a tough one to time correctly. The speed at which Silvio will get to the plane once he is woken up is VERY random. Sometimes he even leaves the mansion grounds and tries to enter the lab from the outside at bottom-most entrance only to fail for some odd reason, forcing him to run back up to the mansion and then down again to the lab proper. In this try he was considerably faster than in the previous try, but thankfully I had decided not to listen to Francesca's dying words this time and had plenty of time to spare. At least a full second if not two. Francesca has very similar lines to the ones in my video "Golf With Heisenberg" if you stay seated as she's dying, but if you stand up once she's drank the poison the death sequence will begin immediately, except when it's bugged and she won't die. Very good to know.
Speaking of bugs in the game, I used to think the scientist lady from the morgue will install the dongle on the computer herself once she gets back to the lab because that actually happened to me in the past (being able to use the computer without having the dongle), but it appears that it was a one off glitch. Bummer.
Just today I have also encountered a glitch where the dongle doesn't drop at all, which is annoying.
Oh, and I avoid knocking anyone out with my bare hands these days simply because there's a recurring bug where the person dies at the end of the animation for no good reason.

We now turn our attention back to the cabin in the woods and the Darkling that was summoned there. It hasn't been fully satiated yet and requires more souls in order to be recruited by us, but luckily three amateur filmmakers are currently trekking in these same woods, trying to find evidence of another supernatural legend. We must do what we can to lead them to the cabin so they can perform the summoning ritual again.
This level is trickier than it looks. A few mistimed or misplaced lure powers and you add another 5 minutes to the clock, which is why I was VERY careful when to use the powers.
If you don't care about freeing the Blair Wisp, this level pretty much completes itself after using two Ice Breaths at the start and Quake once as the mortals head almost straight for the cabin. Once Blair Wisp is seen, however, the mortals become reluctant to move away from the starting area. Makes sense, seeing as the Blair Wisp is what they're actually here for.
They will not cross the frozen lake even when called with Obsession, as the Blair Wisp island scares them away when they try, so they must cross the river. If you don't unfreeze the river once they've walked over it, if they've seen the wisp already they will try to immediately go back where they started the level from. They won't leave the level, they just begin their routines again from scratch.
I like this level. This and the upcoming one called Ghostbreakers are what I think are the best, almost problem-free examples of the puzzle solving aspect in Ghost Master.

The ICA has found the person who gave the previous 5 clients their info and led them to put out the contracts on behalf of the shadow client; a hacktivist named Olivia Hall. Following her digital trail leads to an old farm turned into a private military training compound in Colorado, where various mercenaries, terrorists and hackers from all over the world are working together for some common cause. The ICA head has been hastily spurred by Soders to have 4 key members of this milita eliminated:
An Australian environmental terrorist named Sean Rose, who seems to be in charge of this operation.
A retired Mossad interrogator Ezra Berg.
Ex-Interpol anti-terror analyst Penelope Graves.
Former assassin and gunrunner Maya Parvati.
Unlike Soders, Diana believes that finding out more about the shadow client is more important to ICA than eliminating these targets, so as an additional, unofficial objective 47 must infiltrate an old tornado shelter turned into a command center that only Sean Rose is able to access, and where information about the shadow client is most likely to be found, possibly even the client themselves.
As usual, Diana knows better than ICA board of directors how they should go about things.
