Privacy/Security: Identify Masked Burglar's Address Using WiFi/Python/Linux
Python script that listens in to probes for previously saved WiFi SSID's. This means if you are at a coffee shop, etc your phone/pc is spitting out previously saved network SSID's. My script also allows you to search for the GPS/Home address of those SSID's, and logs every result searched for.

Requirements: 1 wifi card in monitor mode for listening to the probes from client to SSID; to additionally search/find the home/gps addresses of those SSID's, you need a wifi card connected to the internet (to connect to database); So for complete functionality use 2 wifi cards: one in monitor mode, one connected to internet for the SSID GPS searches.
This utilizes the wigle.net database we previously went over.
Solution: login to your home wifi router, change the SSID. Then delete all saved networks you no longer use. Boom, new SSID identity.
You can also add fake networks or those very far away to add bits of disinformation to the mix.

Beginner friendly walkthru to setup Tor Browser bundle on your Pinephone, Pinetab, Pinebook, or anything else running Arm64/Phosh.
1st Download one of the Arm64 ports here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/tor-browser-ports/files/
Either ssh into your Pinephone or pull up terminal directly on the phone.
Then follow the video directly for Arch. For Mobian, follow the video but make one minor change: the exec line in the start-tor-browser.desktop. Change this line to (for Mobian):
Exec=/bin/bash /home/mobian/tor-browser_en-US/Browser/start-tor-browser --detach
(as one line)
***If you do not change the exec line as above it will not start on Mobian***

MACtrack (Linux phone/Phosh package but can be used on standard Linux) lets you identify devices by their saved wifi network probes + signal strength/RSS/brand name/mac addressI, using OSINT database for street/gps address history using WiFi. This can be handy for home security. When you run mactrack it listens only for disconnected devices nearby looking for their entire list of saved networks/SSID's. This means you only see devices not living in the household. It prints out those clients mac addresses + brand name, and each SSID that device is looking for. When ready you hit ctrl+c and are dropped to an SSID lookup prompt. This lets you search a vast database (wigle) for every location that wifi network name has ever been. It logs the GPS/SSID/Street address to a file for you automatically (just the ones of interest you search for.
It leaves the GPS coordinates/street address results on the screen, in case you want to jot down notes. Once finished reading the addresses simply hit enter key again and you are returned to client -> SSID probe watching. This runs continually until you exit the program, leading to a variety of different use cases.
GET STARTED:
Check the variables/locations to make sure it matches up with your OS. Then run the install.sh to install and add to Phosh desktop/command.
