Showing you guys what I've been designing over the past week. A totally tweaked out sounding...well what would you call it? It can range from tremolo to utter chaos. It is still a work in progress and all the bugs need to be sorted out, like the oscillator bleeding over into the mix at higher frequencies, I assume it to be because the oscillator is higher than the fundamental frequency of the input, which would mean the input and mod input would need to be swapped above a certain frequency. But, we're getting closer.
If you do use my design for a personal project, credit me in the post.
Also an update on the Free Furry art commissions, which are still open.
Let it be known I am the first to this application of diode switching modulation in the context guitar fuzz pedals to the best of my knowledge. Drop a comment if you would like to refute this and I will stand corrected.

Enjoy as I beat the crap out of this poor relay with a function generator and my PAM8403 module. Talk about a relay race! Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wizardsof12/

This method works with Windows and Debian 9. Likely Mac and other linux distros as well. Leave a comment if it works or does not work for you.
This has been known to work on HDV-Z20 and HDV-Z8
Be aware that this does not refer to the similarly named HDV series from Sony.

A circuit sculpture I made that generates random numbers between 0 and 99 using avalanche and shot noise in an emitter-base reverse biased 2n3904 as an entropy source, being pulsed by a 2 transistor multivibrator (a type of pulse generator) circuit, and is fed to 2 4017 counters chained together, which outputs to some adorable little leds.

This instrument turned out a lot better than I thought it would. So far I have not seen another one of these, so it is safe to say that, to the best of my knowledge, this instrument is unique, its closest relatives being the overtone zithers, of which this is a relative of, albeit a much more musical relative in my opinion. I would say it is a long scale melody harp with a tonal enhancement. I only have 11 of the 12 string spaces filled, as I need to get some more 0.012s, but 11 seems sufficient to demonstrate the tonal qualities of the instrument. I used JSCut to convert the tree svg to gcode, and bCNC as the controller, per my usual setup.

In this video I conclude a poll from a few weeks ago deciding my channel's fate, and reveal the function generator segment of a project I have been working on (sorry guys, I have to keep most of it under wraps until later), with some technical difficulties easily fixed by beating the hell out of things apparently.
