#doscember - Can I get the full experience from a proper made oldschool PC emulator?
#doscember - Building the ultimate emulation computer in this video. This being #doscember2023 I don't use windows in this video. I connected the hdclicker directly into the harddrive file of the emulator with the help from the Raspberry pico w and some programming. The emulation is done with pcem with an invincible Linux as operating system. We have a CRT monitor, a beige tower and a proper oldschool keyboard and mouse. Lets have some fun!

A quick look around in the prerelease of pOS running on the Amiga 1200. One of the promising operating systems from the late 90s that did not happen.

I have worked quite a lot with my daily driver computer, which is a Debian installation. I wanted to make it give me the same feel I had back in the days when I used my Amiga 4000. And for me, I have succeeded. I have included emulation integrated in my desktop to use old Amiga programs and besides that made the desktop mimic the look and feel of my old Amiga.
This is a show and tell, not a howto. Let me know if you are interested in a howto as well

This is part two of the howto about how to make your linux desktop feel like a modern recreation of the Amiga and be able to integrate Amiga software into it. In this part I show how to make the desktop look and feel like late and more modern Amiga desktops. Before you keyboard warriors go mad in the comment section, please read that last line again. This is not a try to mimic a plain Workbench 3.1 install.
Please watch part one for the technical details of integrating the Amiga Software in the linux desktop here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=559xsEb62FU
This is a response to all the comments on the show and tell video of my Linux desktop: https://youtu.be/K23zyBZI3FA

I wanted to make myself the perfect emulation computer for Amiga. Based on the Amiga 500 but setup to emulate the Amiga 4000 with a 060 and a Zorro graphics card card.

In this YouTube video I do a short showcase on my alternative take on a homemade pinball machine! It is a bit unusual creation that is based on the Amiga version of Slamtilt.

In 1998, on line 5 of the Oslo subway, Gird_09 used his Boss SP-202 to sample the doors closing on one of the train cars, for a track named “Flowers of Your Hate”.
When this sample was mentioned in a Facebook post in December 2021, Greger suggested an album should be made, collecting tracks from various artists all using the sample in one way or another.
The sample was recovered from the sampler a few weeks later, and Gjøran started organizing the project. This is the result of the hard work from 10 chosen artists.

I did a fatal error during the making of this video. When you configure the wrp server in amifox icon, remove the () around WRPSERVER=something. If you don't do that you will still be using the official one.
In this video I show you how to setup the docker container in linux and amiga installation of Amifox and Amitube so that you can enjoy youtube on your Amiga.
