I listened to a Jeremy Vine show a few years ago that featured a young guy who wanted to live to 150 years old and how he was going to do it. Basically it involved living his whole life like a monk, taking no risks and avoiding much contact with the outside world.
I remember thinking what’s the point at the time and now in 2020 here we are with many people so risk adverse to the virus that they also want to live an isolated monkish life too.
