# The Missing PS4 - #01 Playthrough An mechanically easier game from **Dead Rising PS4** but more emotionally challenging. **The Missing** comes with a warning and a belief before the title screen appears that should not be taken lightly. While it may be a side-scrolling horror, this game is about pain and asks the player to inflict pain on the protagonist to progress. What this pain ultimately means we will see find out in the end. Aside from its macabre mechanic, it has character writing or dialogue similar to **Secret Little Haven** so I am sold by that alone. To unlock the dialogue though, a certain number of the game's main collectible, donuts, must be collected and disclosed in batches. The donuts themselves are not trivial to collect similar to **Celeste** strawberries. While they are optional, I crave for good writing. For this new playthrough, I will get through the main story and hopefully get all donuts and wonderful conversations. Hope you enjoy.
