This is video #069 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years for the PC. This is episode 1 of The Crystals: The Planet Eater.

Previously, the party in Kain's Tale finished leveling up. Now, we will start the game's final tale, The Crystals.
After resuming, we begin our tenth and final tale, The Crystals: The Planet Eater. Game data is loaded from prior completed tales.
In a previously recorded fragment, the player earns the Steam achievement "Money Grubber" for saving up 50,000+ gil. For saving up 200,000+ gil, the player earns the Steam achievement "High Roller".
A sequence of cutscenes takes place at the start of The Crystals. A lot of bad stuff is happening on the Blue Planet!
Overworld (time 7:57):
After the scenes, we gain control outside of Baron. The gil totals and inventories from the latest saves are added together for The Crystals. For saving up 500,000+ gil, the player earns the Steam achievement "Rags to Riches".
Our party consists of Luca, Rydia, Edge, and Gol-... er, the Man in Black. They resume with their levels from the latest saves in their respective tales: Luca at Level 38, Rydia at Level 38, Edge at Level 41, and the Man in Black at Level 41.
Rydia and Edge can learn the Broken Heart band. Rydia, Edge, and Luca can learn Flare Tornado.
During Ceodore's Tale, Ceodore got a Goblin summon item from a Goblin. Now, Rydia uses it to learn the Goblin Summon spell.
After adjusting their equipment, the party heads northwest from Baron. There is a lake north of the castle. In the woods on the west side of the lake, the party enters a new clearing.
Clearing Northwest of Baron (time 10:20):
In the tall grass, the party finds Small Tail #01. There are several of these throughout The Crystals. The party leaves the clearing.
Overworld (time 10:46):
The party boards the Falcon. They can chat with Calca and Brina on the deck. In the Cabin, they can rest for free. Currently, they can also find Edge's disciples: Izayoi, Gekkou, Tsukinowa, and Zangetsu.
After leaving the ship, the party enters the town of Baron.
Baron (time 14:22):
There are soldiers roaming town. Talking to them will trigger battles against Zombie Infantry. To avoid the fights, just don't talk to them. Most of the buildings are locked and not enterable.
At the southeast corner of the inn's exterior, a bush conceals a Phoenix Down.
Namingway is standing outside by the southwest corner of the sundries shop. He sells weapons, armor, and sundries. The party sells excess inventory. They pick up a Dwarven Axe and a Cross Helm for Luca.

Davilas is currently working on the Version 5.0 storyline. Previously, he followed Yushka to the Zard Ruins and got a nice view of Farazard. Another scene took place when he revisited Yushka at Farazard Castle. Then, Davilas and Yushka returned to the Grand Court Gate in the north of the Gerhena Phantom Field. In a scene, they met Asbar and Valeria, and the great gate to Demon Mountain opened. Afterwards, Davilas went off to carry out a couple of gate quests and level up his Sage vocation a little bit. Now, he will go through much of Demon Mountain with Yushka.
Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan housing area. Outside, he checks his mail and receives gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Many thanks to the buyers!
Afterwards, Davilas Zooms to New Eteene Village.
New Eteene Village (time 1:38):
At the new pub in the northeast, Davilas changes his vocation to Level 120 Minstrel. At the bank, he deposits his gold.
When Davilas is ready to go, he uses the Abyss Jewel to teleport to the Grand Court Gate.
Grand Court Gate (time 3:52):
Davilas arrives at D-7 in the south of the Grand Court Gate area. Funbrot at E-3 has story information.
At E-1, Davilas exits north to Demon Mountain.
Demon Mountain (time 5:24):
Davilas gains control at D-7 in the first part of Demon Mountain, the Trial of Power. There is a plaque at D-6.
Just north of the plaque, Davilas examines the first teleportal at D-6. It transports him to the first arena.
Right away, it is boss time against the Trial of Power - Group 1. There are five enemies to take down: two monsters and three humanoid demons. I am unimpressed.
After the battle, Davilas regains control at D-5 in the arena. He can chat with his vanquished foes, if he so chooses.
Davilas uses the teleportal at D-5 to return to the main Trial of Power area. In a scene, the next platform appears.
Davilas crosses the walkway at D-5 north to the second platform. At D-4, he examines the second teleportal. It transports him to the second arena.
In the second arena, it is boss time against the Trial of Power - Group 2. There are four more enemies to take down: two monsters and two humanoid demons. They are a little more impressive than the previous group.
Davilas regains control at D-5 in the second arena after the battle. As before, he can chat with his vanquished foes, if he wishes.
Davilas uses the teleportal at D-5 to return to the main Trial of Power area. The next platform appears.
Davilas takes the walkway at D-4/E-4 north to the third platform. There, he examines the third teleportal at E-3. It transports him to the third arena.
When Davilas arrives in the third area, he finds that the third enemy group has already been taken out. By Valeria, it would appear.
Davilas talks to Diarda at E-5.
Afterwards, Davilas uses the teleportal at E-5 just north of Diarda to return to the main Trial of Power area. The path to the northernmost platform appears.
Davilas takes the path at D-3 north to the northernmost platform. As he goes through D-2, a scene with Yushka takes place. Beltoro causes trouble, but fortunately, Valeria puts him in his place. Davilas's next objective is to continue north to the next area.
At E-1, Davilas takes the northern gate. A little dialogue ensues.
Davilas arrives in the Trial of Knowledge - Floor 1. He starts at E-8 in the south.
At E-7, Davilas examines the plaque. The monsters in this area will have clues to a question that the northern gate will pose. Davilas will have to tell the door the name of the correct monster to proceed.
Davilas examines the northern gate at E-1. In response to the gate's question, Davilas answers "Metal Slime" (メタルスライム), the next-to-last option. The gate's barrier dissipates.
Davilas takes the gate at E-1. He arrives in the Trial of Knowledge - Floor 2. He starts at B-7 in the southwest. The plaque at B-6 has a clue. This time, Davilas will have to respond with the names of two monsters. There are nine throughout the area.
In the northeast, Davilas examines the gate at H-2. First, he answers "Red Wizard" (ひとつめピエロ), the second option. Then, he answers "Fur Rat" (ファーラット), the fourth option. The gate's barrier dissipates.

Previously, Heorot continued training in Fei'Yin to earn Capacity Points. Now, he will continue doing so.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. In his mailbox, he receives gil for a stack of Wind Crystals, one of Lightning Crystals, and three of Light Crystals that sold on the auction house. Many thanks to the purchasers! Then, he goes outside.
Bastok Mines (time 1:07):
At the auction house, Heorot lists two stacks of Wind Crystals for sale. Then, he teleports to Home Point #1 in Fei'Yin, Fauregandi.
Fei'Yin (time 2:36):
Heorot arrives at K-8 on the first map in Fei'Yin. After summoning his alter ego NPCs, he sets out to defeat Balayang bats for Capacity Points.
Eventually, Heorot earns enough Capacity Points to accrue 1 Job Point. He will need 50 Job Points to equip the sword that he got. Ugh, this takes forever. But in terms of enemies that yield Capacity Points, Balayang are bottom of the barrel.
When Heorot has finished for now, he uses Home Point #1 at K-8 to return to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 57:07):
Heorot visits Neigepance at the Chocobo Stables to unload some loot. At the auction house, he puts a stack of Wind Crystals up for sale. Then, he heads to the residential area.
Mog House (time 59:36):
Heorot signs off. Next time, he will continue grinding for Capacity Points.

Previously, Heorot finished hunting Antica in the Western Altepa Desert and reached Level 61. Now, he will do "Riding on the Clouds", which will raise the Level Limit to 70. This quest is pretty easy as long as you have a guide.
Heorot resumes at his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he finds payment for a Fire Cluster that sold on the auction house. Thank you, purchaser!

Heorot teleports to Ru'Lude Gardens, Jeuno.
Ru'Lude Gardens (time 1:54):
Heorot talks to Maat at H-5. Maat issues the quest "Riding on the Clouds". First, Heorot must acquire four Kindred's Seals. Any monster over Level 50 that yields experience points can drop a Kindred's Seal. Then, Maat will provide four hints. Each hint describes a person in one of the starting cities, in Selbina, or in Mhaura. Here is a guide that I found with the hints:

Heorot must trade a Kindred's Seal to each of the appropriate individuals in return for a strange stone. Once he gets all four strange stones, he must bring them back to Maat. In my case, Maat gives the following hints:
1. A girl whose fiancé is all the way in Selbina.
2. A lady looking for another tasty frog.
3. An old man running the Consortium warehouses.
4. A pioneer of the Palborough Mines.
For the first hint, Heorot teleports to Mhaura in the Kolshushu region.
Mhaura (time 5:36):
At G-8 in the Goldsmith's Guild, Heorot finds Celestina. She is the "girl whose fiancé is all the way in Selbina". When Heorot trades a Kindred's Seal to Celestina, he receives a Spirited Stone, a temporary key item.
For the second hint, Heorot teleports to Windurst Woods.
Windurst Woods (time 7:53):
At K-10 just north of Leviathan's Gate, Heorot finds Sola Jaab. She is the "lady looking for another tasty frog". When Heorot trades a Kindred's Seal to Sola Jaab, he receives a Somber Stone.
For the third hint, Heorot teleports to Port San d'Oria.
Port San d'Oria (time 10:19):
At H-9 in Cargo Room B, Heorot finds Fontoumant. He is the "old man running the Consortium warehouses". When Heorot trades a Kindred's Seal to Fontoumant, he receives a Smiling Stone. Fontoumant is also a quest-giver, but Heorot does not accept his quest. At least not yet.
For the final hint, Heorot teleports to Bastok Mines.

Previously, the party defeated Punchinello at the end of the Mole Mines and acquired Star Piece 3. Afterwards, they found Dyna and Mite and took them on a perilous mine cart ride to return them to Moleville. They encountered a trio of Snifsters and followed them through Booster Pass to Booster Tower, where the clueless Booster is holding Peach captive. There, none other than Bowser helped the party enter the tower and joined forces with them! After helping Toadofsky with the second part of his melody, the party began climbing Booster Tower. They found a couple of new weapons along the way, and they also checked out a new area in Booster Pass. Now, they will finish climbing Booster Tower and try to save Peach from the bearded weirdo. One of my favorite parts of the game's story is coming up.

Character Creation:
In this video, I start the game. I create my main character, Mia (ミア). Her sibling is an older brother named Erik (エリック). Three guesses where I got those names.
After character creation, if you have already played the opening scenario on one character on your current account, you have the option to skip it. I will show the opening scenario.
Opening Scene (time 4:11):
The opening scenario starts with a cutscene sequence. Besides the main character and the sibling, it also introduces the head of the village, Lady Aba (アバさま), and the village guardian, Lord Kame (カメさま). But it is not as it seems at first.
Eterne Village (time 7:28):
After the scene, Mia gains control in her house in Eterne Village. She can return here to rest for free. She starts at Level 1 with basic Eterne gear. The config setting that I updated increases the camera rotation speed.
When Mia exits her house, an establishing scene shows off Eterne Village. The destination is the church in the southwest of town, but Mia will explore the town fully first. Characters whose names are pink provide story information. The full map shows the current destination area.
The village shop is in the northeast. It sells all the gear Mia will ever need in the opening scenario.
Mia enters the workshop in the southeast of the main plaza. In the workshop's back room, a red chest at H-3 contains an Yggdrasil Leaf. Very handy!
In the northwest part of the village, a red chest at D-4 near the waterwheel contains 52 gold.
In the church, Mia can talk to Sister Iori to save the game. The door to Lady Aba's room is locked, and she sounds peeved at being disturbed.
Mia's objective in the church is to talk to Aba's grandson, Shini, at A-6. Shini wants to make something for his grandmother, but he needs a couple of ingredients. He asks Mia to fetch them. Sure, why not?
Mia must meet two NPCs in the northwestern part of town.
First, she talks to Nei at C-3 in the waterwheel house. Nei gives her one key item (フカフカのもみガラ).
Then, Mia goes to the house just to the north and talks to Nora at D-2. Nora gives her the other key item (干しどくけし草).
Mia returns to the church and talks to Shini at A-6. This triggers a cutscene. Shini makes something very comfy-looking for Aba.
Afterwards, Mia examines the door to Aba's room at B-6. She is irritated with him, for some reason, but she is pleasant to Mia. She asks Mia to find Erik and return to her.
After the scenes, Mia finds a red chest at A-7 in Aba's room. It contains the Stardust Earrings, an equippable accessory. They even show when equipped! Nice.
At the item shop, Mia picks up a Copper Sword and a Leather Shield and equips them. She sells off her inferior Eterne Sword.
When she is ready to go, Mia exits north at F-1 to the Nurturing Land.
Nurturing Land (time 40:33):
Mia resumes at C-8 at the southern end of the Nurturing Land. Outside town, she finds some easy enemies, Slimes and Teeny Sanguinis.
Mia reaches Level 2. She learns the spell Heal, which restores ca. 25 HP.
After a couple more easy battles, Mia reaches Level 3.
Mia's objective is the woods in the east of the map. Outside the woods, there is now a healing circle that the player can use to restore HP and MP.
As Mia approaches F-4/G-4, a cutscene takes place. She meets up with her brother, who has finally succeeded at making something useful with alchemy. He gives her the Happy Hat and joins her. Now, the siblings must return to Aba's room in the church.
Erik joins at Level 3 and wields a basic wand. He will not level up and cannot be directly controlled, but at least he can cast Heal.
In the woods where she met her brother, Mia checks the carved stones. They have information about the races of Astoltia, this game's world.
Mia is done in the wilds for now, so she enters Eterne Village at C-8.
Eterne Village (time 51:10):
Mia heads to the church, saves, and signs off. Next time, she will revisit Lady Aba in the church.

Previously, the party carried out the first four quests in the Martial Artist vocation quest line, Quests 149-152. Completing Quest 152 earned Heorot the Martial Artist vocation's Coup de Grâce ability, Roaring Tirade (一喝). Then, Heorot will continue leveling Martial Artist.
Julette (time 0:27):
The party resumes in the church in the town of Julette.
At D-6, the party talks to a Wedi Martial Artist named Yarn southwest of the pub. Yarn issues Quest 153: "Yarn, the Tearful Iron Fist". The next destination is the Galaga Hole in the depths of the Ronda Ice Cave in the Rangao Mountains.

Rangao Mountains (time 5:15):
In the northwest, the party enters the Ronda Ice Cave (ロンダの氷穴) at A-3/B-3.
Ronda Ice Cave (time 5:37):
The party starts at G-5 in the east. They explore the cave and defeat the resident monsters for the monster list. This is the dungeon in the starting Ogre story, so the enemies in the first part are trivial at this point.
At F-5, the party first takes the path leading west. This leads towards the first boss room, the Ronda Cape, in the southwest.
A red chest at D-7 contains a Single Phial (まほうの小ビン).
The party returns to the junction at F-5. They take the path leading south, which leads to the deeper and more dangerous part of the cave.
At E-2/E-3, a black chest contains a Blue Eye (ブルーアイ). At E-3, a black chest contains 3 chunks of Silver Ore (ぎんのこうせき).
At E-1/E-2, a black chest contains a Medicinal Herb (やくそう). Wait, a Medicinal Herb? Really, game?
Heorot has reached max tension, so he goes to the reserve lineup. Being at max tension will help him in the second part of this quest.
In the northeast of the cave, the party takes the teleportal at E-1 to the Galaga Hole (ガラガの穴). When they arrive, a scene with Yarn and Gaurad takes place. It seems Gaurad has turned to the dark side of martial arts.
After the scene, it is boss time against the Monster Martial Artist Gaurad (武闘魔ガウラド). I'm pretty sure his ball and chain can hit the entire party with a physical attack. However, my party wipes him out with Coup de Grâce abilities. So overpowered!
At the end of the battle, Gaurad provides a base of 2,000 experience points.
A cutscene sequence takes place after the battle. Yarn challenges Heorot to one-on-one combat at the Coliseum in Rakkaran. Heorot must talk to Glara in front of the Coliseum in Rakkaran to start the battle.
After the scenes, the party gains control in the Galaga Hole. They Evac out of the dungeon.

Heorot takes the lead in the active lineup.
At B-6 in the southwest, the party talks to Glara in front of the Coliseum. Heorot agrees to enter the arena in a one-on-one battle against Yarn.
Another scene with Yarn takes place in the Coliseum arena. Then, Heorot enters a one-on-one battle against Super Tendoshi Yarn (超天道士ヤーン). At his current level, the battle is a joke, especially with super high tension.
Another scene with Yarn takes place after the battle. Quest 153 complete! The party earns the Martial Artist's Token (武闘家の証), a Silver Skill Up Panel (スキルアップパネル・銀), and the Strongsam Book (ぶとうぎの書). Heorot learns the recipes for the Strongsam and the Martial Artist's Boots.
An epilogue plays to close out the Martial Artist vocation quest line.
The party regains control outside the Coliseum. Heorot uses the Fun-Size Forge to upgrade his Strongsam and Martial Artist's Boots to +3.
Time for some more grinding. The party Zooms to the Landon Mountain Summit Path.

The party goes to the Summit. They talk to Fifi at H-2 for transport to the Heart of Hades.

Previously, the party continued the quests for the Tale of Interwoven Bonds of Courage storyline. At Real Gran Zedora Castle, they carried out Quest 272: "Convocate! Crown of Wisdom!" for Milt. They helped repair the communication device in the castle's Secret Meeting Room so the Crown of Wisdom, the sages of Astoltia, could hold a meeting. They also carried out Quest 273: "Truth" for Sage Broggen and helped Anlucia learn the Coup de Grâce ability Hero's Eye. Now, they will help her learn two more techniques for breaking evil from Eidos and Horro.
Real Gran Zedora (time 0:30):
The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Real Gran Zedora. They go outside and Zoom to the Real Gran Zedora Castle - Entrance destination.
Real Gran Zedora Castle (time 4:15):
The party descends to the Secret Meeting Room basement. In the Secret Meeting Room, they examine the blue chair in the southeast at D-3/E-3. This triggers a scene with Sage Eidos. Eidos issues Quest 274: "Guardian", a quest in the Tale of Interwoven Bonds of Courage storyline. He will teach Anlucia the Hero's Shield skill, which will protect the party from powerful attacks. The party's next destination is the Poison Fang Chamber in the Sage's Lair on the Pukland continent.
When they are ready to go, the party leaves the castle and Zooms to the Sage's Lair destination in the Popora Region, Pukland continent.

The party enters the Sage's Lair at G-6.
Sage's Lair (time 11:03):
The party works their way into the cave. After preparing their lineup, they enter the Poison Fang Chamber (毒牙の間) at D-2. A cutscene introduces their disgusting trial opponent.
After the scene, they go a few rounds against the Grudge Sludge (どくどくバルーン). This fiend's nasty trick is Mega Poison Gas, which it uses after three rounds. It deals major damage.
After a few rounds, another cutscene takes place. Anlucia will be required in the lineup for the second bout against the enemy.
The party engages the Grudge Sludge again, this time for real. To start, it will accumulate poison for three rounds, then unleash Mega Poison Gas. Anlucia has gained access to the Coup de Grâce ability Hero's Shield (勇者の盾), which requires 75% tension. She will have the tension to use it on the third round, and if she does so, it will protect the party from a great deal of damage.
After that, the Grudge Sludge will begin attacking each round. It can use Hell Circle, which deals about 200 points of damage to each party member and can inflict Dazzle and Curse. It can also hit the party with Poison Gas. "Snap, Crackle, Poof" is a great precaution. Fortunately, the Grudge Sludge is not too strong against the party's attacks.
At the end of the battle, the Grudge Sludge provides a base of ca. 39,800 experience points and 11,040 gold.
A scene takes place after the battle. Anlucia learns the Coup de Grâce ability Hero's Shield (勇者の盾). Eidos's voice congratulates her. The party's next destination is the Secret Meeting Room in Real Gran Zedora Castle.
The party regains control in the Poison Fang Chamber. They Evac out of the cave.

The party Zooms to the Kingdom of Real Gran Zedora.
Real Gran Zedora (time 31:23):
The party rests at the inn. Afterwards, they Zoom to the Real Gran Zedora Castle - Entrance destination.
Real Gran Zedora Castle (time 32:10):
The party descends to the Secret Meeting Room basement. They enter the Secret Meeting Room at D-3 for a cutscene with Sage Eidos. Quest 274 complete! The party earns a Seed of Life (いのちのきのみ). The Pendulum of Fate gains power. Quest 276 becomes available in Real Arahagiro.
After the scene, the party gains control in the Secret Meeting Room. Anlucia consumes the Seed of Life. Life and Magic seeds are pretty stingy in this game.
The party examines the yellow chair in the northwest at D-2 for a cutscene. However, Sage Horro seems to be experiencing difficulties. Milt issues Quest 275: "Fighting Spirit", another quest in the Tale of Interwoven Bonds of Courage storyline. The party must now board any train in Astoltia to see if they can meet Horro.
When they are ready to go, the party leaves the castle and Zooms to Mount Gatara.

Previously, after a failed attempt to defeat Ashrakk for Seekers of Adoulin Mission 5-2: "Yggdrasil Beckons", Heorot went to Escha - Ru'Aun for some grinding. In this video, he will make another attempt and then do some more grinding.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He picks up some more Merit Point upgrades. In his delivery box, he receives gil for a Riftborn Boulder and two suits of Dullahan Armor that sold at auction. Thanks to the buyers! Afterwards, Heorot heads out.
Bastok Mines (time 2:50):
At the auction house, Heorot puts a couple of Riftborn Boulders, a Pluton, and a Pellucid Stone up for sale. Then, he teleports to Eastern Adoulin.
Eastern Adoulin (time 4:38):
Heorot uses the Waypoint at H-10 to teleport to Frontier Bivouac #1 in Yorcia Weald, East Ulbuka Territory.
Yorcia Weald (time 5:17):
Heorot arrives at Frontier Bivouac #1 at H-7. He adjusts his Trust macro to call Selh'teus.
At H-6, he examines the Wavering Flux. He chooses the battlefield for "Yggdrasil Beckons". He is transported to Yorcia Weald [U] for the battle.

Heorot works with his Trust NPCs and Morimar to take another stab at Ashrakk. The battle ends with Morimar's defeat.

Heorot regains control at H-6.
At H-7, he uses the Waypoint at Frontier Bivouac #1 to teleport to the Rent-a-Room in Eastern Adoulin.

Heorot arrives at G-11. He teleports to Leafallia, East Ulbuka Territory.

He examines the Aged Stump at H-8 for another Sky Blue Pome temporary key item.
Afterwards, Heorot teleports to Home Point #1 in Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.

Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5.
Just up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence to enter Escha - Ru'Aun.

Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs and resting up, he heads north and hunts some more Escha Il'aern.
Heorot accrues a Job Point for a total of 12 Job Points.
When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.

Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 to teleport to Port Jeuno.

Previously, after fleeing from the Urayan Tunnels to the Great Cotte Falls, the party faced Commander Isurd in the Lambda Ferronis. Afterwards, they fought Consul J, whose identity is a shock to some of the party. Then, Taion checked on Commander Isurd in Colony Lambda.
The party resumes in Colony Lambda in the Great Cotte Falls, Pentelas Region. They discover the Colony Lambda, Cave Mouth landmark at the colony's entrance.
They go out to the Great Cotte Falls for a long cutscene sequence that closes out the Chapter 3 main story. Wait a minute. Just who is this "N" character?
Chapter 4 begins with another long cutscene sequence.
The party gains control at the Colony Lambda Shelter rest spot in the Third Cataract of the Great Cotte Falls. At the rest spot, they spend bonus EXP to level up.
Afterwards, they reenter Colony Lambda to gain information and talk to NPCs. Outside the gates, they learn the info "Missing Off-Seer (1/2)". Just inside, they get the info "Colony Lambda's Canteen". In the northwest, they get the info "Indelible Marks".
The Lambda Commissary is in the middle of the colony.
On the Clearwater Shelf in the northeast, the party gets the info "Missing Off-Seer (2/2)". Note that Commander Isurd has a Hero Quest, but the party will undertake it later.
At the Colony Lambda Shelter camp, the party discusses "Indelible Marks" for bonus EXP. The other two topics start quests. The party also cooks some Manana's Battle Soup.
Afterwards, the party heads out to begin exploring the Great Cotte Falls. They work their way counterclockwise around the basin outside the colony.
In the west, they find the Hidden Freshwater Inlet secret area. There is a Level 37 unique enemy here, the Massive Georges. The party will pester it later.
On a hill in the southwest, the party finds an Ether Channel and a Container. One item in the container is a Massive Spanner. The party turns in the Collectopaedia Card for Widgewidge of Colony 30.
In the south of the basin, the party finds a Skirmish between a Speckled Aligo and some Young Brogs. They help the Young Brogs for Colony Lambda affinity points.
There is an Ether Channel on a landing in the southeast.
Southeast of the Colony Lambda Ferronis, the party finds the Fallfoot Battlescar location, where there is a group of Soldiers' Husks.
In the south, the party finds the start of the slope leading up. They turn southeast to find the Cave at Pira Bluffs location. There is a container on the southern ledge. On the southeastern ledge, there is a Soldier's Husk.
The party goes back outside and begins going northeast up the slope. They find the Muroon Bridge southwest of the Ferronis.
Just north of the bridge, they find a device that extends a ladder down to where they opened a Container earlier. On some rocks to the east, they find a Soldier's Husk.
The party continues north up the western slope. They find the Myma Gate landmark, an entrance to the Urayan Tunnels.
From here, the party turns northeast to continue up the slope in Great Cotte Falls.
North of the colony, they find a big dragon blocking the way. Approaching it triggers a scene.
Afterwards, it is boss time against the Umber Drague. This massive monster is pretty resistant to side breaks. However, a good Chain Attack with an Ouroboros Order or two will help wipe it out.
A cutscene sequence takes place after the battle. The party's next objective is to rest at the Titan Rock Camp ahead.
After regaining control, the party drops down to a lower ledge to the south. They find a Soldier's Husk as well as a device that extends a ladder to the basin north of the Colony Lambda Ferronis.
The party climbs up the slope to the north and then saves. Next time, they will continue on.
