This is me testing a high angle climb in Auto Mode. I swear this hill looks steeper in person - LOL. I though I went higher up the hill, but it's hard to tell when I was inside the car. I didn't want to get up on top of the hill.
The Renegade in Auto Mode slipped at the top of the climb and the engine stalled. I rolled back down the hill with the engine stalled and in Drive. I didn't even realize it until I stopped and my brother told me.
My 2nd brother coming a deep climb on the entrance to the high difficulty Jeep Trail in Bee Canyon. We were worried about the clearance when the wheel would drop into the hole, but the Trailhawk lifted on 3 wheels and jumped over the hole instead of falling into it. The Renegade had an interesting way of clearing this challenge.

This is another angle when my 3rd brother attempted this hole a 2nd time in Rock Mode. After he failed and cheated the first time in Auto Mode. He felt the difference and said Rock Mode made it easier with the lockers on.

The rain wash out this bit and left a steep climb around some rocks. The cutout just about fit the width of the car, so we had to go through it. This tested the clearance and push/climb over large obstacles.
My brother using his camera phone on this bit. He had to hike to check the road ahead and didn't want to carry the expensive camera.

Entrance shot of the Jeep Trail in Bee Canyon. Just some sign information for anyone interested in the trails we frequent. There is a few videos of us going through the first 1/4 mile of the trail before the very difficult section of the trail. Not until we get better tires and maybe a bit of lift.

Out off the main road on Old Idylwild Road. This particular section of the road used to be smooth flat dirt 2 years ago. It has been really washed out and I wasn't expecting these road conditions at all.
I was worried about the capability and clearance of the Trailhawk, but decided to find out what it could do. No recovery tools and no other truck to pull me out if I get stuck.
My brother got out to guide me up this part because and decided to use his phone camera. So sorry for the shake "action" shots. Parts of the road have been washed off the edge and there was deep grooves we didn't want the tires falling into.
Definitely wish we had bigger tires and a lift. With careful tire placement we got through this. The road was getting worst as we kept following this trail, so we decided to turn around after this last bit.
Trail Rating: 8.5/10
We used Rock mode with 4WD Lock and with 4 Low on.

My brother squirming upstream in a dried out wash. Just a quick shot of the Renegade coming through the trees. This ended up being a dead end, so we did this shot real quick. Then took some photos.
