The New York Giants were embarrassed by the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday's Week 3 matchup. Quarterback Daniel Jones had his worst game as a professional quarterback, as he completed less than six yards per attempt while throwing an interception and losing a fumble on a pitch to tight end Evan Engram. It also didn't help that the Giants defense allowed 36 points to backup quarterback Nick Mullens. Many now wonder if general manager Dave Gettleman is on the verge of getting fired.

An anonymous former New York Giants player recently praised general manager Dave Gettleman for his draft day decision-making. Which is odd. Why would someone remain anonymous when complimenting someone? Also, running back Saquon Barkley was left off of Pro Football Focus' "50 best players entering the 2020 season" list. Meanwhile, fellow running back Nick Chubb was listed at number 27 on that list because of his "dynamic" playmaking ability. But do the facts back up their statement?
