Salvation is an offer of adoption that you accept by trusting the Jesus who rose from the dead. It's a gift, so you can't earn it or work to keep it; you can only live in humble gratitude for it.
Jesus is the only way to be reconciled and adopted by God as our Father. This is the Good News! Jesus Christ died for our sins according to Bible prophecy (the word of God), then he was buried, and then he was raised on the third day according to prophecy.
When we accept this Good News, we’re sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, guaranteed eternal life and cleared of all charges. Then we live to please our Savior.

The Psalms, penned by at least 8 different people over many generations, are essentially worship song lyrics or hymnals. They cover the span of human emotions in relation to God, and are generally divided into five "books": 1-41, 42-72, 73-89, 90-106, and 107-150. But the New Testament seems to indicate that they also contain some prophecy, the primary topic of which is the Messiah and his coming kingdom. See the commentary linked below for more details.

Salvation is an offer of adoption that you accept by trusting the Jesus who rose from the dead. You can't earn it or work to keep it; you can only live in humble gratitude for it. Jesus is the only way to be adopted by God as our Father.
We are Christ’s ambassadors, so God makes his appeal through us: Be reconciled to God. This is the Good News! Christ died for our sins according to prophecy, then he was buried, and then he was raised on the third day according to prophecy. When we heard the word of this saving Good News, we believed and were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit. At that moment we were guaranteed eternal life.
Because of that, we live in humble gratitude, since this isn't a license to sin. At salvation we were cleaned up, set apart, and cleared of all charges, not by performing good deeds or obeying the law of Moses, but by faith alone. We were saved only by the grace of God. It wouldn't be a gift if you had to earn it or had to work to keep it. Instead, you live to please God out of love.

Ezekiel was both a prophet and a priest, and though his book is part of the Major Prophets, no other part of scripture refers to him by name. He is most known for his vision of God, but there is a lot of other important material as well, including end-times events and the Millennial Kingdom. Unlike other prophetic books, this one seems to be largely chronological and includes frequent date markers, a chart of which appears in the commentary under "Structure". God refers to Ezekiel as "son of man" (human), and Ezekiel refers to God as "Adonai YHWH" (Lord of Lords).

More observations bring more curiosities... and more debunking of the heliocentric model. And of course, I will likely also lapse into Bible talk.

This lesson continues the study of the book of Exodus and the many laws of Moses. Since most of the material consists of very detailed instructions on the Tabernacle and priestly garments, the chapters after 24 will only be briefly summarized.
