CCTV footage from an apartment in Taiwan shows three cats home alone as the magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit on Wednesday morning. Immediately knowing something was wrong, the cats can be seen running around the apartment in confusion, with one being flung from a table by the tremors. The cats eventually settled on places to shelter until the quake passed.
The video was posted to X by the apartment’s worried owner, who wasn’t able to get back to the cats before the quake hit.
