Cooking For Strangers Ep 03 "Mystic" ( Sautéed Potato & Pasta)
We went around Toronto asking strangers to cook them dinner in their kitchen that night in hopes of meeting some new people in our city!
Thank you Maggie for being my security guard and my guest, I just met her in the market and she agreed to go with me.
Maggie was so dedicated that she asked more than 40 people if they are hungry, and if we could cook them dinner.
We almost gave up and Maggie bought us watermelons for dinner.
We tried 1 more time and we knocked on the door of the last house we found near the park in the market. It was 7:20pm.
Walid opened the door and he asked me few questions and he let us in.
You are so kind Walid!
And Walid gave a name to the dish I made. Using the only ingredients he had in his place. He called this dish "Mystic", he said this was his YouTube channel's name when he had a gaming channel.
This was inspired by a cooking show on YouTube called "Stranger Kitchens"
and a video by "Discover Connection".

Hey brothers and sisters! if you want to write something here, to share with me, or to share them with others. I would try to sing them in Bosa Nova tomorrow.
Write down anything, especially the thoughts you want to share with the world here. And I will try to sing it to you.
PS. I'm slowly working on other comments and I will sing them to you.
Sorry if I'm out of tunes.
My original goal was to sing all of the comments today,
but that seems to be too big of a goal for me.
Thank you for your patient.
The original comment from Joe Flows:
My message for the world is: Seek validation not from others but from within. There is where you'll find that everything already exists. Life is duality. Sometimes it's through pain that we understand life. Though we make mistakes we do not fail because there is always a lesson. Let go of your past troubles and don't make life a burden. We are all perfect in our own way.
And my message for Yuliku is: Thank you. I appreciate the quality, passion, and honesty in the content that you create. It is truly a work of art. When I first commented on this channel awhile back I was bit spiteful because I was going through a tough breakup in a relationship but you were still kind to me. Some random person online acting rude but you decided to make me laugh and smile lol. In all honestly, you made me reevaluate myself and look deeper within that day. Sorry for the book I'am writing here lol but I just wanted to thank you for being so kind and understanding. You really helped me out that day, and your work continues to inspire me. Stay well, stay safe, and keep up the great work Yuliku!!

I'm visiting a new place every day in Toronto to film people's feelings with my camera.
If you are curious about people in this city, you could check this out and to know what people are thinking when they are waiting for their buses.

An intimated moment without words
Short Film - I love you more than I can tell you
Strangers share their personal moments, the intimate moment when they're deeply in love.
This is a short film about the story of emotions.
Without a word, each face lets us escape their stories, their joys, their sorrows, their hope and despair...
Delivering a part of themselves, which words could not fully explain.
For this, we need to listen to them with our eyes and understand them with our heart.
Empathy is the only interpreter between us and these faces.
A pure moment of intimacy, from soul to soul, hearts to hearts, eye to eye, for a short silent moment...
But with thousands and one language.

Hi guys, this is the first story telling video I ever mede.
To share the life and dreams of ordinary people in the city.
I met Tamo two months ago and I got really inspired by him so I decided I want to capture his stories and share them with you.
If you like these stories, please tell me in the comments, I will make more stories about ordinary people in Toronto.
Tamo's instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tamo_nara/
This is Tamo.
He's a comedian from Japan.
His dream is to make people feel happy by performing comedy with total strangers, in the street, in the park, or any other public place that grabs his attention.
I want to capture the process of how Tamo creates his comedies and share that with you.
We were trying to find someone to let us use their car for a ten second video, but everybody we asked said no. Of course, this is not surprising. Who wants to lend their car to a complete stranger during a pandemic?
But at last we found someone who was willing to lend us his car. This kind person was called Nigel, and he let us make the video in his car.
After we made the video, Nigel kindly showed us his music studio, a very cozy place. He encouraged Tamo to sing some Japanese songs. This was a totally unexpected experience, since Tamo is not that confident about his singing, and he hesitated a long time before agreeing to sing.
I really hope Tamo can make more people laugh and feel happy, and inspire more people with his creativity, and his unique attitude to using everyday things as the basis for his comedy.
