Pretty sweet scissor lift and a decent price point. Sturdy enough to get the job done and pretty good looking to boot.

Well I did it. I sold all of the other 2 strokes (YZ250 and Xtrainer) and bought a new (used) 2017 Beta 300 RR. It's my favorite year of the 300RR I always liked the Sachs fork valving from that year, right out of the box and its the last year that shipped with a kick starter. I'm saving money left and right!

In this series we fix up a KTM 85 sx that was found on Facebook Marketplace for well under market value. The goal is to spend as little as possible, fixing what can be fixed and only replacing the things that have to be replaced.

We took an impromptu white knuckle ride up Radical Hill. The trail is technically quite easy. However, if you have an irrational fear of heights or off camber shelf roads do weird things to you; you might want to reconsider. Up for a challenge? Try this with full-width axles to increase the pucker factor ?
Route Information:
Technical Rating: (5-7) (MODERATE)
Rocks frequent and large, 12" and may exceed hub height. Holes frequent or deep (12"). Shelves to 9". Mud 8" deep and may be present on uphill sections. Grades to 25 degrees and sidehill to 30 degrees. Water crossings to 18" and may have strong currents. 1-1/2 vehicles wide. 4WD required. Driver experience helpful.
Description
Although Radical Hill is a two way trail, it is best to run it from bottom to top, running it uphill. This trail is a four-wheel drive road with a series of very steep, very narrow and very tight switchbacks. You should send the first person in your group up the Hill first to make sure no one is coming down. It would be close to impossible to pass someone on the last bit of the Hill. Leave plenty of room between you and the vehicle in front of you. There is one washout far up the switchbacks that would be very scary for a full width vehicle. The last tight turn on the Hill climb also has rocks in loose dirt that you must climb as you are turning the corner. This is the most difficult part of the climb besides the washout and occurs right before you get to the top. The top of the Hill is very flat and has lots of parking so you can get out and enjoy the view. From here you can look down on the switchbacks you just climbed. You can also see the Webster Pass switchbacks as well as the Red Cone trail. It's a great place to take pictures.
If you are not comfortable with narrow shelf roads, this is not a trail for you.
