Lauren Bruce Mathers with multiple addresses in multiple states appears based out of West Palm Beach FL (voter active), has a fairly recent address in Southern Pines at 360 W Wisconsin Ave. (Moore County voter active.. problematic much?). This rental property appears possibly vacant, no sign of recent activity. Ms Mathers has two other NC addresses in Raleigh and Denver. Less than a year ago Ms Mathers became "Sandhills Pride executive director".. and decided it would be a good idea to bring "Naomi Dix from the Duraham House of Coxx" to an all ages drag show at Sandhills Theater. As I understand it, push back from the community asked the city council to enforce a statute that is designed to protect children with restrictions on sexual entertainment within a certain distance of Schools and Churches. The city council refused the request to uphold the Law. So the community went to the sponsors of the venue and were able to pressure Sandhills Theater to make the drag show 18+. The power went out shortly after the drag event began and this caused the show to end early. Naomi Dix from the House of Coxx is quoted in the Fayetville Observer as saying,"This is no longer about a drag event that took place in Moore County. This is about the victims of Moore County and this is also about the community or a marginalized community, which is the queer and drag community that is being affected by this. This is life or death here for some people and I just want them to feel safe. I want them to feel included. I don't want people to forget about them. I don't want this to be overshadowed by you know potential acts of terrorism. I will return," Dix explained. Notice that this out of State/ out of county agitation operation is using the word "tactic" and the power outage to demonize the local community concerned for children, while posing as the victim and valued personage in solidarity alongside Moore Counties victims "of hate"!! And Naomi Dix threatens to come back to Moore County! (Dix has balls! 'pun intended'). So Dix continues, "This is a tactic. If this is in fact, something that is to target the queer community and we don't know that as of yet, but if this is, in fact, something that will target or is targeting the queer community, what I say to my own community, and its allies is that this is literally a hidden agenda in order to scare us and to make us feel threatened so that we can be silenced. This is not a moment to silence yourself. This is a moment to speak up and speak out. If you see anything if you hear anything if there's anything that you feel is a threat to your community, or give us answers as to where this is coming from specifically when it comes to Moore County, speak up. Don't be scared. Don't be nervous and if you don't feel comfortable or you don't give your consent to speak out, use me as a tool. I am here for you. I am here to speak up and speak out for you." Dix remarked. ~Conclusion~ I'm providing this information to warn the sheriff's office that we will see more from this out of town agitation operation. We, as a community, need to pre-emp any further attempt at bringing Sodom/Gamorra to the county by outsiders. We need to enforce current statutes and maybe make some new ones that protect children from adult predators.
