Chat is everyone's hot favorite. Every evening we crave for chat. Today I'm sharing a very healthy chat. It is one of the ideal chat for evenings. Peanut chat is a simple and instant snack. This recipe is completely oil free so easily we can add in our diet list or our healthy lifestyle. This recipe can be called chat or salad.
This chat is prepared with boiled peanuts and some of a few ingredients. Anything is added to the recipe for spicy or sweetness. It is served to almost all the generations and liked by everyone. In addition you can add grated carrot and beetroot, chopped capsicum and corn too. I have not added any vegetables because I love simple peanut chat.
Peanuts are boiled by pressure or in a vessel. Both types of cooking can be used, but we need to Cook the peanuts until they soften. For flavors we can add any kind of masala. For preparing this chat no need any processed food, chutneys and no frying the ingredients. You can add nuts to this chat.
Along with this chat we can serve tea, coffee or juice. Any combination will suit with peanut chat. Peanut chat is a great option for weight loss and keeping your stomach full for a longer period.
The taste of peanut chat is spicy and tangy. It is a completely vegan recipe. For making this recipe we will get ingredients in our daily kitchen, not needing much ingredients and special items. Peanut chat does not need much preparation. That's why I love this simple and delicious chat.

Walnut coconut laddu is one of the healthy and protein rich sweets. This laddu is made without refined sugar. So walnut laddu is a very good option to include our diet. Walnut coconut laddu is a good snack for everyone. This laddu is not traditionally sweet but walnut laddu is very healthy to our body. Walnut coconut laddu is very easy, quick, instant we can prepare.
Plain walnuts do not have a good taste like other nuts. But this nut gives a lot of nutrients to our body. So this is a wonderful snack. You can add different nuts along with walnuts. For kids this is work to maintain good health.
For this making the laddu walnut and coconut are major ingredients. Along with this I added jaggery and cardamom powder to this recipe. Slightly roast the coconut and walnut in ghee, it will give a good taste for the laddu. Here I used cardamom powder for flavour and got a good aroma. You can use elaichi powder or other flavors.
For sweetness I used jaggery syrup for preparing the laddu. Instead of jaggery you can try with white sugar or brown sugar. When we add jaggery syrup it will form moisture well so no need to add extra liquid to bring the texture of laddu. When you add the brown sugar, it will not release the required amount of moisture so you need to add some milk. Finally the texture of the mixture comes to prepare the laddu.
After preparing the laddu roll into desiccated coconut or freshly grated coconut. And rolling in coconut is completely optional. You can store this laddu for 10 days in room Temperature.

Puliyogare gojju is one of the traditional and authentic recipes. The gojju is prepared with tamarind extract and some spices and it is a little spicy also. Masala powder is prepared with fresh spices which are available in our kitchen. This Puliyogare gojju is prepared once in a lot of quantities and used to mix whenever we require. This is one of the specialities of this gojju.
The gojju and puliyogare powder is available in the market in plenty, but I prefer homemade gojju. When I want to go from my home to my parents' home I will prepare this gojju. It will help my husband to prepare the puliyogare in his busy time. When gojju is readily available then keep the rice and mix it and enjoy the food. It can be used for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And it doesn't need any side dishes.
The Gojju is prepared with a lot of fresh spices. The spices are roasted along with dry coconut. The red chillies are adjusted according to your tastes. Dry coconut gives a wonderful taste to the gojju. While roasting the spices you should keep in medium flame and roast until it turns to golden brown colour. After completely cools down, blend it to a fine powder.
Prepare simple tempering and add tamarind pulp and oil and give a nice boil, then add prepared masala and jaggery and give a nice mixture to it. You have to keep stirring until the oil releases from the gojju. Otherwise you cannot store it at room temperature or the gojju will spoil quickly. Once you prepare the gojju after it cools down, you have to store it in an airtight container.
When you are trying the gojju you feel like it is quite lengthy or difficult to prepare. But it is worth preparing and storing in the fridge. In a hurry-burry life or when the guests come suddenly, suddenly if you feel like eating something tasty. You can mix this gojju with steamed rice. The tasty rice is ready to serve.

For urad dal payasam, I have added both milk and coconut milk. The saffron gives nice colour and aroma. Jaggery is added for sweetness when it melts the aroma will be so good. While having payasam added fresh grated coconut feels good for the taste. Coconut milk doubles the taste and also add creaminess for the payasam. For this payasam, I have roasted urad dal and made it to a powder and mixed with the milk. When you roast and prepare the powder of urad dal aroma makes you feel good about this payasam.

For making this simple rasam we need coconut shells. After removing white part from the shell, we need to clean the shell and wash too. If coconut shells are not cleaned and washed you need to strain the water after boiling. The water should boil for some minutes in low flame, because shells release their healthy characteristics to water. Once water nicely boiled remove the shells from it. The water will change the colour to light brownish.
After releasing the colors and healthy characteristics of coconut shells, add some regular spices to enhance the taste of rasam. Finally add simple or garlic tampering to the rasam. While adding the spices you can adjust the sweetness and spiciness for your taste. Tamarind will help to taste good for rasam.
