Headwear For Sound Pros - Sound Speeds
Many professional sound people working in the field like to wear some form of headwear to keep the sun off their heads and shoulders. It's usually a baseball cap or beanie simply because those are easy to use with headphones but there are now headwear options designed for sound pros and produced by professional sound vendors.

The K-Teks Stingray Sun Hat (KSH-1) is designed with the field sound professional in mind. From the wide brim and neck cover to the adjustable straps and holes for headphones the K-Tek is ideal for sound professionals that like wearing headphones on set but want their entire face and shoulders protected from the sun.

Bubblebee Industries has also created 3 caps/hats for the sound professional and each is designed with features to appeal to different user preferences. Whether you like the feel of a baseball cap or a bucket hat, each offers a removable face shield that can protect you from spray or mist. If you wear a face mask the face shield may fog up so consider an antifog spray or a mask that vents out the side instead.

To purchase any of these products, follow the affiliate link below:

Although I only show the Bubblebee Caps and Hats with the face shield installed, you do have the option of using them without.

Full Disclosure:
Although K-Tek sent me the Stingray Sun Hat and Bubblebee sent me the 3 Caps/Hats Showcased, I'm not going to allow that to affect my opinion of them so you can expect this to be a fair and honest presentation.
