Pokémon Black Version 2 (German) - Elite Four Caitlin (Challenge Mode)
The former Battle Castle employer uses Psychic type Pokémon. In Challenge Mode, Metagross holding a Life Orb is added. Musharna has a combo using Hypnosis and Dream Eater along with Reflect to reduce damage from physical attacks for 5 turns. Sigilyph will use Air Slash to make targets flinch. Reuniclus will use Recover when in danger and Focus Blast for something dangerous against those who have an advantage. Gothitelle will use Calm Mind and use its attacks. Metagross will use Zen Headbutt to make targets flinch and Bullet Punch to strike first. Moves like Crunch and Flamethrower work best for this battle.

If you defeat the soldiers and leave the General surviving, the General will retreat, ending the battle prematurely. The girl will eventually introduce herself as Rydia. Rydia is part of a Summoner class and will join your party.

After venturing in the sewers defeating some Neo Plasma Grunts, return to the surface and Burgh will return to the gym. Castelia City’s gym is different where you’ll go through silk to the next floor. Make your way through the silk pipes and you’ll see Burgh. Burgh uses Bug type Pokémon. In Challenge Mode, Dwebble is given a Sitrus Berry while Swadloon is replaced by Shelmet and Karrablast. Dwebble will speed up by using Rock Polish and strike multiple times with Rock Blast. Shelmet will use Curse to become more defenseful but slower along with Mega Drain to steal HP from opponents. Karrablast will use Headbutt to make opponents flinch along with the never missing Aerial Ace. Leavanny will use Grasswhistle to put opponents to sleep and Razor Leaf for critical hits. After the battle, you’ll receive the Insect Badge and a TM76 (Struggle Bug). Struggle Bug strikes all opponents and lowers their Special Attack stat.

The starting point has spike pits along with buzzsaws, jumping fish, swimming helmets, and sharp jellyfish. Up ahead, you’ll battle a whale that will spout spiked balls. After seeing more spikes and jellyfish, climb a ladder to see Eddie give you a random item. After seeing a big jumper, enter the water and the tide will rise and fall. Stingrays and jellyfish are in the area over spikes. The 2nd whale you battle shoots torpedoes. Before going ahead, fall through an opening and watch for spikes as you go down. At the lowermost part of the secret spike fall, you’ll find a special item that forms a wire and attaches to walls. You’ll be warped back to where you first entered the tide area. Now jump over the opening and you’ll next see spikes along with spiny bombs ahead. Use the Rush Marine to easily navigate the area. Once you go far, you’ll enter the gates to take on Dive Man. Dive Man attacks by charging and shooting small torpedoes. Use the Skull Barrier to guard yourself, which also damages the boss by aplenty. After beating Dive Man, you’ll obtain the Dive Missile weapon.

During your post-game quest, explore the Relic Castle and go through the deeper parts of the ruins. Navigate some rooms and find the room with Volcarona in it. Save your game before you interact. Volcarona is on Level 70. Don’t make contact with it or else you’ll get burned due to its Flame Body ability. Because it’s Bug/Fire type, Net Balls work best. If it reaches Level 100, it will learn its signature move, Fiery Dance. The move has a 50% chance of raising the user’s Special Attack stat.
