I just returned from attending the meeting of styles in Manila, Philippines. Its the second time I`ve attended and the 2nd time I left already looking forward to the next one. Trip63, Carrot bombing hosted this multi -national event as always and like usual he worked relentlessly to ensure everyone was taken care of and the event was successful. The meeting was situated at the MJ46 center which is in the south-side of Manila and albeit a little further out than last year it was still reachable. Manuel the founder of the Meeting of Styles attended and after baking in the heat he managed to rock a wall. There was a shop selling t shirts, books &magazines, markers and other graffiti tools in addition there were some delicious Korean food on sale. Artists flooded from all corners of the world to attend and join the meeting, The attending artists are listen below.
One of my quicker walls at 2020 Street Art Festival painted with my buddy Jinx. I chose to paint this as a damn fast thing due to the fact that the sun was too hot on the wall opposite which I went on to paint a while later, believe me for it was cooking hot, I`ve still got the burns to prove it. I got busy and painted 6 walls in total Jinx got busy and documented part of the trip - Jinx will add some videos to his Vlog later so check him out and show him some support by subbing to his channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8fQhqaI2ywhGX6y-eOnAow
let me know what you think to this one
All the time and effort not only in painting or finding locations, editing the videos and taking the time to maybe entertain you for a few minutes can simply be rewarded with a like and a sub - help to support a tiny part if you can, it would be greatly appreciated, respect.

The bible of graffiti right - I first got this book in 87 and I absolutely driveled over it - Many Old heads that look at the graffiti of today and feel disappointed with the state of the culture, I can understand - Look through this amazing book and see what was being created nearly 40 years ago - my god so pure so rich and timeless.
Spraycan Art is the first book that documented the initial stages of the worldwide spread of New York City Subway graffiti style and subculture. Authored by Henry Chalfant and James Prigoff and published by Thames & Hudson on September 1, 1987.[1] The photographs are primarily of walls rather than subway cars, and features the work of Mode 2, 3D (aka Robert Del Naja, of Bristol trip hop pioneers Massive Attack), Bando, Lee, Chico, Tracy 168, Buda, Shame, Blade and many others.
Spraycan Art followed the release of Subway Art (also published by Thames & Hudson), authored by Henry Chalfant and Martha Cooper.

I painted a design from an exchange that I did with Fox, a young artist with some cool letter styles, Fox is studying in Wuxi and over the summer we went to visit and leave a wall behind you can watch here - https://youtu.be/KZzYxqBGzX4. This time I got up close and dirty using a head cam. As I wasn't planning on making a video of it the footage is kind of raw and not complete so I`ve added a final photograph at the end.
Once again the soundtrack is by the man like MC Mickey boston but this time i mixed up 3 seperate tracks in a mini mix - Mickey Boston & Regimental Oneton - These guys have some smart, witty and deep lyrics and its well worth checking these guys out. We were given permission from the artists and have been informed that it is free to use - You can check the man out here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2Cj...
Also big respect to :MC Domer for the additional sounds &
Shaun Miller for the constant support and encouragement This guy is a very talented photographer and creative mind. You can check his channel out here https://www.youtube.com/user/ShaunLeslieMiller

This was a quick painting in fact look what can be done in 25 minutes - imagine what I`m like when in a rush because as you can see I`m chilled as hell. It was after I painted my contribution for the Secret Writer 3 wall for the up and coming Secret Writer No.3. I like to paint this place so after painting the first wall I just cant stop but I wanted to do something simple. Sometimes the need to just let rip and bust off a few quick things can be as satisfying as spending hours at a wall. A couple of friends visited me for a quick session back at the old village that I smashed back in 2019. The remaining residents have invited us back to paint as often as we like so you know I will kindly take them up on that. I think though that I`ll optimize the opportunity and paint some nice walls there while they are available.

As mentioned in part one I got lazy, I just freestyle my walls and have neglected to grab some pens & attack the fundamental tool - My Blackbook. I`ve spent so many years sketching and felt it was becoming a limiting factor for me. I like to go to a wall and spray whatever I feel like painting but........................................................ I was wrong and I guess lazy somewhat. Anyway to make a long story short I wanted to kick my own rear and challenged myself to stick to having a 30 minutes sketch for 100 consecutive days, I DID IT!!!! Please take a look at this the part one and tell me which day/s do you like/dislike? Thanks and see you with part two very soon.

Above the Bangkok skyline and bustling traffic I took the DJI Mavic up.
Again it was a nerve-racking but also enjoyable experience.

After work I went back to the village to put my thirst for creativity through a freestyle workout. I have little time due to the skies darkening quite early now however l just arrived and got busy. Anyway here is the result.
Thanks to Shaun of Mean Bear Media for filming some of the footage, appreciated brother.

I had a quick sketch this afternoon and decided to record it - it`s nothing special infact just a play around really as I was just working out a decent angle to record from but anyway, on this video the soundtrack is by Mickey Boston & Regimental Oneton - taken from their Enter the 36 Tentacles album. We were given permission from the artists and have been informed that it is free to use - You can check the man out here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2CjoFiksUwNEiLFJPvLd1g
