I am a new customer Hectic knives, so I bought three knife from them. I bought two knives Heretic Manticore X Jade and Heretic Knives Hydra Jade at one time, however, both of these knife where bad right out of the box even tho they where new! Both my high end OTF knives from heretic where bad. I actually bought 3 Heretic knives, include Hydra Copper, Manticore X Jade G10 Backcover Battleworn Black TANTO and Heretic Knives Hydra Jade Top Handle Two-Tone Black and Heretic Knives Hydra Copper Handle Tanto Two-Tone Black Blade Two of the Heretic Hydra had a problem right out of the box. Here's a video of Heretic Knife Hydra Jade with the follow two problem. 1.) First problem is the blade does not lockout correctly 30-40% of the times. Again, after firing the blade, the knife does not lockout so its like toy knife. 2.) Second problem is that Fire Button stop working When I fire the knife nothing happens. Again I am pushing down (all the way down) the fire button after moving over the safety of course. Simply put, the knife does not fire. When it does fire, it does not lock in place, so it retract if I tap an object. In less than 24 hours, I am having problems with the knife.
