Just for fun, I thought I'd try some "ink splatter"-esque map reveal animations. This wasn't part of a project or anything, just me messing around in After Effects. I got the idea after watching this video: https://invidious.kavin.rocks/watch?v=5He7No8c7mQ
Messing around in Blender again, this time creating a simple, yet semi-realistic pumpkin. This was a practice project mostly for applying custom textures. While I still find blender to be less user-friendly than Maya, I think I'm finally getting the hang of it.

FROM THE ARCHIVES: A parody of educational videos, with Mr. T teaching us about velocity by calculating how fast he can throw a fool to the moon. This was actually a remake of a project I did in college, over a decade prior, for a physics class I was taking at the time.
I recently took a game design course focusing on 2D sprite development, specifically for retro games. I created various characters and props, along with background tile sets. The class was a lot of fun, and getting to dissect the classic games of my youth gave me a whole new respect for those original game creators.

I've been taking 3D classes recently and decided to showcase what I've done so far. While not an "official" demo reel by any means, these are the 3D models I've created up to this point.
Another Blender demo, this time to better familiarize myself with the Array modifier. I made a simplified version of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, titled at 4°, just like the real thing.

Another quick DaVinci Resolve/Fusion demo. I wanted to play around some more with 3D map animations, using this tutorial as a guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1oFNA7Yhpo

Since it's winter and all, I thought I'd try modeling a block of ice in Blender. This was all pretty simple, and used no additional plugins. Special thanks to these tutorials:

More fun with Blender! This time I modeled a building based on some reference photos I took of some buildings downtown. The modeling portion was pretty easy, but this was the first time I've really messed with procedurally-generated textures.
