So one of my close friends, who was as normal and sane as they come, decided to spontaneously take LSD at a house party after her boyfriend offered it to her. The 'boyfriend' is the kind of guy that takes Psychedelics and other drugs on a daily basis, the kind that have gone so far they can no longer function in this reality and are always looking for a way out. How she fell for him goes beyond me, although I think I know what it was.. Maybe the fact that his a multi Billionaire! Anyway. She was offered LSD and accepted, took a single tab of 220ug and within the first hour she began to have a bad trip, mainly consisting of negative visuals and the understanding that she was being watched by everybody and people were plotting to rape and murder her! This insanity continued beyond the 6 or so hours an LSD trip should last and had her end up in a Mental Asylum for 6 months! The LSD she took was verified, it was clean and the dose was verified too. One thing about the guy is that he won't take something he doesn't know is pure and being a multi billionaire he has resources and people that provide him with exactly what he wants, so the LSD was not the problem here. This war on drugs has caused nothing but problems, death and insanity for millions of people around the world. It does nothing to stop the manufacturing or distribution of drugs. The government prohibits drugs, yet on the other hand supplies those same drugs to the community. Its all about money. By prohibiting these drugs were not benefiting anyone, were just making it harder for people to get their hands on those drugs, more expensive and more dangerous. As history has taught us, nothing will stop someone who wants to take a particular drug, so why ban them? Why not give everyone the choice to make up their own minds and have harm reduction services in place to reduce the number of deaths and other negative reactions from these drugs? This has gone on for far too long, we must stand up as one race, the human race, and voice our concerns. The Governments are there to meet the needs of the people, not to meet the needs of their bank accounts. They work for US. When government fears the people, there is liberty.
