Now, they seem to have sorted at least a few things out, and are offering updates on the state of things, as best they can tell right now. Here’s what we know so far: Walking Dead Season 10 Finale - AMC has said that while filming is done, all they need to do is finish some post-production work and the finale should be ready shortly after they’re able to do that. Given that many states are starting to open back up this month, we may see that happen in May, and I would expect a late May, early-mid June premiere for the season 10 finale that we never got. Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 – Summer/Fall 2020 It does seem like Fear the Walking Dead is still set to debut this summer like it was supposed to, and yet AMC says that they anticipate some episodes of the show needing to air the “back half” of the year, which is not normally the case, as the show usually has all 16 of its episodes air across summer and early fall, ending in early October right as The Walking Dead begins. But it’s possible that filming delays could push more episodes into October, November or December this year. The Walking Dead: World Beyond – Fall/Winter 2020 This is the show that has suffered the most from the delays, as it was supposed to air weeks ago when The Walking Dead season 10 wrapped, but has now been pushed all the way to the end of the year. In the long run, however, it shouldn’t really matter given that this is a 20 episode, limited series, and AMC is committed to those 20 episodes no matter what. I already watched the premiere and I find it kind of hilarious I probably can’t talk about it for another 5-6 months or so. The Walking Dead Season 11 – TBD Right now, The Walking Dead season 11 is a complete unknown. The show would have normally started filming already, but the pandemic shut everything down completely and there’s no telling when it might be able to start back up again, though as states reopen, possibly soon. The problem, of course, is how to you film a show with fighting and kissing and crammed zombie hordes in the age of social distancing? That remains to be seen.
