**Message to War Vets and my Brothers in Arms: I know that my words towards you were harsh and full of hate, but that is only because of how much I love you and how much it has destroyed me over the years to watch you all ignore the evident signs of treason, as I watched them bring back your bodies in boxes, and your bodies missing limbs, and your minds shattered by the violent acts from these senseless insane wars.
Perhaps I lied when I said that I don't feel bad when you kill yourselves, perhaps it destroys me so much that I can't even look. You were the men who I used to wake up early in the morning to reveille with, we slept in the snow and mud together and ate questionable mess food and then ran till we puked. We jumped out of "perfectly good airplanes" and did drill on the parade square together until we passed out on our faces.
You were the men who taught me how to shoot, who taught me how to shine my boots, who taught me how to sew, who taught me how to drink beer and never to be that guy who doesn't pay for the next round... you were the men who taught me how to be so brave.
My anger was really directed at certain soldiers who knew damn right what was going on, men who I thought were better, and men whose job it was to stop what was going on. Instead of warning the public when you got back, you took your medals, you went on your victory tours and took your photos with the treacherous Prime Minister as they paraded you around like the war heroes you never were.
Every year on "Remembrance Day", we paraded together through the streets in our uniforms in the cold and in the snow, as I was almost always the one at the front of the parade. I marched us down to the cenotaph with the drums and band behind me, leading the way, to honour all our heroes who died fighting in even more senseless wars and where even more men died in vain. You were my best friends, and when confronted with the realities of WWI and WWII, you buried them, like you buried what happened in Afghanistan.
I would have given anything to have been there with you, but I chose to fight the war on the home front, the war that was in our own backyard, the war where there are no medals for bravery, or salaries or pensions... the war where our leaders are the true enemies, our own media is the liar and the people you're trying to save think you are insane. I am sorry if I was harsh, but I was trying to save you. There is a fine line between love and hate... but still:
"We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle his condition;
And gentlemen in England now a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day."

"For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." Ecclesiastes 12:14
