I survived a massive bombing while visiting the front line of Ukraine!

I was initially mistaken as a potential spy or just an adversary by the Ukrainian forces. After they searched my belongings and researched my background, they deemed me as "legit" and let me hang out with them.

Not long after, the building that I was staying in was heavily shelled, and we were forced to evacuate to a safer location underground. I remember some decent chunks of rubble falling from the ceiling and the entire building shaking like an earthquake. I was fortunate to be wearing a helmet because I was struck a few times by the rubble. Without the helmet, I'm confident I would've ended up with a concussion or cutting my head. Luckily, we made it to the basement and just chilled until the bombardment stopped. I truly was "as chill as a cucumber."

After some time in the basement, I was escorted in a military vehicle back to my hotel, which was surprisingly still open! I stayed on the front line for as long as I possibly could before I had to leave due to mandatory evacuation.
