Sailing off Guanabara Bay - Celebrity Eclipse - Time Lapsed Version
The navigation throughout Guanabara Bay took almost an hour. Maybe it’s not shown so successfully in this record, but it was amazing to see the hills and mountains from the ship, along with the amazing city lights. We could enjoy Pan de Azucar and Corcovado mountains and the shadows the projected thru the horizon. It wasn’t a cold night, so it was pleasurable. I also took a lot of HI key pictures, that will be posted in a forthcoming post. Theres also a real-time footage of this vid, into my celebrity eclipse playlist. I hope you enjoy it, as the rest of my vids!

§31 There is in the corner of the aforementioned western part of La Barra de Maldonado a beach, semicircular in shape, that borders the exact limit between the Maldonado creek and the Atlantic Ocean. The beach itself is not good: the sand is very hard, the area is very windy and it is mostly crowded by elderly people. But it is wide (it must be 200 meters deep in its widest area), offers spectacular views of the west coast of La Barra, the classic bridge and the meanders formed by the sand in that place. In addition, because the sand is hard, it is possible to play soccer there (I think that because of the hardness of the sand you could even play tennis) and even run. In front of it (that is, on the other side of the creek) is "La Gorgorita", a very rocky beach visited by the locals, and notorious for its viewpoint. On its left bank - facing the sea - we find "La Posta del Cangrejo" beach, shown in another video. I do not recommend this beach unless you want to take good pictures.

§31 - Existe en la esquina de la mencionada parte Oeste de La Barra de Maldonado una playa, de forma semicircular, que bordea el limite exacto entre el arroyo Maldonado y el océano Atlantico. La playa en sí no es buena: la arena es muy dura, la zona es muy ventosa y está mayormente concurrida por gente de edad avanzada. Pero es amplia (debe tener 200 metros de fondo en su zona mas ancha), ofrece vistas espectaculares al litoral Oeste de la Barra, al clásico puente y a los meandros que forma la arena en ese lugar. Además, por ser dura la arena, es posible jugar allí al futbol (creo que por la dureza de la arena se podría jugar incluso al tenis) y hasta correr. Enfrente de ella (es decir, al otro lado del arroyo) se encuentra “La Gorgorita”, una playa muy rocosa visitada por los locales, y notoria por su mirador. A su margen izquierda - mirando al mar - nos encontramos con la playa de la Posta del Cangrejo, mostrada en otro video. No recomiendo esta playa salvo que quieran sacar buenas fotos.
