Oh God, no. She actually made the situation worse when she needs those Republicans the most. And here is what Carrie Lake said in response to that question. You know what? We're all human. We make mistakes. Occasionally I do as well. Uh, uh, uh, and I'm not perfect and I never wanna hurt anyone's feelings. But you know, politics is a rough and tumble game, and sometimes things are sad. Do you regret your statements? Was the question? And she's like, I'm not perfect. Right? Nobody is like, we all make mistakes. But you're not even saying that that was a mistake. You're just admitting that as a human being, you inherently make mistakes as we all do. It's, that's literally what you said. Like we all do. I'm no exception. You were given, like, it could not have been set up better for you to be like, yeah, I shouldn't have done that. It was the heat of the moment. You know, I, I, I, I was misguided. I was angry and I said things that I didn't mean. And I'm sorry for that. And I hope in time I'm able to convince these voters that I did not, you know, that is not who I am. And that is not what I mean, all you had to do was apologize. And I promise you, you would've won back some of that Republican support that eludes you right now. But you are such a stubborn moron that you can't do that. Like Carrie Lake is genuinely, in my opinion, a very stupid person. Like she is not smart. And what's funny about that is it's not that, oh, she's not book smart, but she's street Smart. No, she's even dumber when it comes to being street smart. This past weekend on these Sunday morning talk shows, Matt Gaetz, of course, was the guest of honor because people wanted to know, of course, why did you oust Kevin McCarthy? Don't you think it's gonna come back to hurt you? And Matt Gaetz very simply on, uh, N B C said, yeah, not worried about it. Specifically Matt Gates was asked by NBC's Kristin Welker on Meet the Press, uh, whether the effort to ALS McCarthy was worth it. And Gates responded, absolutely, look, I'm here to fight for my constituents and I'm here to ensure that America is not on a path to financial ruin, ruin. So when she asks if it's worth it, what she means is like, Hey, there is now a chance you could lose your job because Republicans want you expelled from Congress. So was it worth it just to get McCarthy to not be the speaker anymore? And Gates put on his brave face, she's like, oh, absolutely. I'm willing to do it right now again, I do think this is Matt Gaetz trying to put on that bravado of like, oh, I'm not scared of anything when deep down the dude doesn't wanna lose his job, right? Like hardly anybody actually wants to lose their job. So it's ridiculous that this question was even asked because you know, he's just gonna pretend that, oh, it doesn't bother me that they're talking about expelling me. But then Gates brought up a point, a point that I have made plenty of times, and Gates had this to say. He also said some Republican suggestion to remove him from Congress was crazy, noting that he was sent to Congress with about 70% of his district's vote. So Gates understands what I understand, that any effort by Republicans to expel him is effectively futile because being expelled from Congress does not prohibit you from running for that exact same seat again and winning. And the district that I live in, which is the district that Matt Gates represents, yeah, 70% voted for Gates. We have a heavily Republican district that has not voted for a Democrat since the year 1960. So maybe Gates isn't just putting on a tough, uh, brave face. Maybe he understands. Listen, you kick me out all you want. I'm gonna go back, run for election again. They're gonna send me back and then boom, what are you gonna do then? Expel me again. Cool. We'll just repeat that end of the cycle forever. The only way Gates could actually get expelled from Congress and stay expelled is if there is some kind of evidence suggesting potentially criminal activity on Gate's behalf. Folks, let's not forget that last week you had Republican Senators, JD Vance and Tommy Tuberville pop in. Laura Trump was also there. Alina Habbas sat in court every single day last week with Donald Trump to help babysit him. Uh, you have had Republican Senator Tim Scott show up because he of course is also a Republican vp, hopeful. Basically anybody who's anybody in the Republican party has done their term of babysitting Donald Trump in court. Uh, and apparently there's a lot more to you, even people from Congress, Republicans that I've never even heard of. But here's the funniest part about all this. These people think they're showing up to show Donald Trump's support, right? To show this unity, to strengthen the Republican party. That by God we're not gonna stand for this charade of a trial, and we're gonna show up here and we're gonna eyeball that jury and give him the whole stink eye the whole time. And yeah, that's, that's dumb. That is very incredibly stupid. But that is what these morons are doing, and it's probably according to legal analysts, by the way, making Trump's position so much worse with that jury. But here's the fun part. These people are acting like these are just spontaneous shows of support, but it's not. 'cause a couple weeks ago, a report came out where Donald Trump's legal team and the Donald Trump campaign got together because they were very worried, given Donald Trump's clearly deteriorating mental state, that he was going to have outbursts in court. So at the time they said, okay, so what we should do is we should have people that he likes and trusts show up at the trial to kind of help rein him in, right? He's gonna be less likely to act out, they theorized if his friends and allies are there with him showing him support so he knows he's got somebody there, kinda like an emotional support animal, right? So these people, You know, whether it's House Speaker Johnson, Vik, Ram Swami, Tommy Tuberville, JD Vance, Byron Donalds, Laura Trump, they're his little puppy dogs.
