Moral of the story: Know who you listen to and understand their motives. Milo Yiannopoulos was 'banned' off of Parler earlier today... Until he wasn't. The company hosting their new servers SkySilk addressed this as a mistake and quickly remedied the situation. I'm not a fan nor an enemy of Milo, I think his act was perfect for 2015, but it has significantly run it's course. Don't mistake my apathy for a desire for him to be silenced, quite the contrary. Feel free to shout into the abyss as loud as you want, your fans should have every avenue available to access your content. My beef is with the click-bait nature of Journalism. Within an hour, the original story was debunked and put out to pasture. But instead of retracting the story, an update was issued and the full story is still up. Like always, the original story gets all the play, the update gets a fraction. Like who you like, trust very few. The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes has been the tallest dwarf at the cinema by simply not bombing in the face of historically bad competition. It will go down as the worst performing Hunger Games film, likely making half of what the worst grossing film prior to this release did by the end of its run in theatres. One thing you can say about it is that it hasn't had the monumental drop offs like The Marvels or Wish. That is mostly due to the subdued opening and the lack of negativity coming from the cast. Rachel Zegler has been uncharacteristically tight lipped during the films release, simply taking to social media to promote and amplify fan content. Someone clearly told her that if she wants to work in the industry ever again, you need to shut up. But good on her for listening; shame she is horrifically untalented, because she is teachable!
