A nine week campaign cost the DWP £225k for the Tv and newspaper adverts which big up the UC benefit, as if people needed to have this product sold to them. However, when you consider the DWP wastes thousands of pounds pursuing tribunal claims against decisions they wrongly made in 70% of cases, this is just a joke.
