I wanted to share a few of my experiences and lessons learned from trying to resell firewood. Reselling firewood is has proven to be a good way to increase my firewood business. My supply of seasoned firewood was very limited this year, so I decided to find other reasonably priced wood to resell. My challenges have included finding consistent and quality supply, as well as getting consistent length.
My firewood business is more of a side hustle or a hobby firewood business, but I could easily see it growing into something much larger. It has been some nice supplemental income this winter, and I plan to grow the firewood business even further in future years. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74QDrsTLEHI
Cutting comparison for two 60cc chainsaws - the Echo CS-590 and the Stihl MS 362c. The first round of the comparison is cutting firewood from 14-16 inch oak logs. The second round is cutting 10 inch pine cookies. Watch the full video to see if one chainsaw performed better than the other.

Today I dropped a maple tree that was leaning over the pond road and managed to get my saw stuck not once, but twice! This will make some great firewood, though!

This may not be the best way to fix a pesky mud hole on a dirt road, but it seemed to make sense to me. I cut away the side of the road to let it drain, then filled the hole with concrete pavers, chunks of concrete block, gravel and dirt. We'll see how it holds up next time it rains.

We're using ground cover for the first time over part of our flower patch. This is by far the largest and most ambitious flower patch we've ever done and we're really looking forward to getting everything going so we can host our flower festival in August and September. This year, we're growing zinnias, cosmos, calendula and multiple kinds of sunflowers

I'll give you an update on the Christmas trees from the Austrian pine we planted in the spring of 2022, the Caroline Sapphire, our first planting of Norway Spruce from the spring of 2019, and Leyland Cypress planted in 2020.
Woods Tree Farm was started in the spring of 2019 and since then we've planted over 3500 trees, sold pre-cut trees at Christmas time, flowers during the summer, and grown our business as a photography venue for local photographers. We highlight all of these aspects of our business here on the channel. I wanted to find out if my cheap trash pump could handle a larger sprinkler so I could be more effective at irrigating my fields.
The pump I've used for the past 2+ years is the DuroMax 2" trash pump (purchase yours here: https://amzn.to/2QSUuDM). Its been reliable and effective at pumping water from our pond..
This new sprinkler head is capable of doing upwards of 70 gallons per minute and up to 95' radius. We're getting closer to 50' radius with the trash pump, but its still putting out close to 1" per hour on the 100' circle.
(Buy the 1.5" sprinkler here: https://amzn.to/3oRI0ZP)
