If I bite my nails much harder, I’ work my fingers down to the bone, If I wait any longer, could be leavin’ this world all alone. What time is the right time, for getting’ you on your own? Baby – can you gimme the time?
You live well inside my head, even when i sleep, Time just seem to slip away now, in the moments I’d like to keep. I have faith that I’ll find faith in the very moment that I leap, Baby – can you gimme the time.
It’s a strange situation and the agony of my frustration is killin’ me. A heartfelt investigation, uncovers my admiration, Still in me, got a place that only you can fill in me.
I been window shoppin’ for somethin’ money just can’t buy. Call me cheap ‘cos baby gimme one of your sweet smiles, i’m satisfied. These are things I can’t explain, somethin’ i just can’t hide, Baby – can ya gimme the time?
All confusion put aside, I think it’s clear to see I just want Time, Time, Time. Sweet baby - can ya gimme some of your sweet time? Can you gimme some Time, Time, Time?

StellaQ: Music/Lyrics, Vocals, B/Vs & Acoustic Guitar. Dave Scotland (Guitar/Bass) & Guy Delandro (Kik) - kindly played for a cheap bottle of wine. Thank you guys. Thank you to Brian Cachia & Troy Horse, Sydney, Australia 2005.
Video shot 2020 in the gully of the Birdwing Butterflies & Protestor’s Falls, NSW, Australia using a Canon 80D on a tripod and iPhone 6sPlus. Another shoestring budget production.
If time is money, there is no greater currency.
Another song from the StellaQ vault which has finally been given vision. This may not be groundbreaking but I hope it is grounding. I invite you to take some time and breathe. Let the water hypnotise you. It’s about the journey. Peace. 2021.

*I do not believe in the 'Climate Crisis' propaganda however I am absolutely 100% about caring for our environment and the creatures that inhabit within it, from the Blue Whale down to the single celled amoeba. What you put out there, comes back to you. Peace all.

This has been a long ongoing project. It is done. Good Friday seems like a good day to let it go.
“Mother” was written in 2008 & recorded 2009.
I was emerging from a dark time… seems fitting to release it now, amidst this strange time of global isolation. Perhaps more poignant than ever to stop & reflect.
Footage of the extraordinary Lineart work, by artist Richard Gregory, I recorded back in 2009 onto MiniDV mounted onto a hired dolly. At 4.5 mtr wide, it was a challenge.
Finding copyright free decent footage for the song proved to be a time consuming task. There were a few gems but largely, I resorted to either bending the plan (multiple times), sorting through hundreds of hours of dusty footage in forgotten folders or just shooting my own where I could. Digits created in Illustrator. Thanks to my boy for the use of his green screen.
I was surprised to find some great footage available on NASA’s site. I read through the T&C’s with a friend, twice, to be sure it was ok to use. Yup. Cool.
You won’t find this song on Spotify or iTunes or any other sub site. Paying musicians less than 1 cent per stream is insulting. I'd rather give it away.
Thank you to Becky, Lou, John, Blicka, Richard & Graeme. Oh… & to little Jasmine for saying “We’re running out of time” with the hiccups. Lol.
Please let me know what you felt & share this link if you want to.
Peace, good health & love our planet like she's the only one we will ever find.

Animation using variations on a drawing in a really basic couple of apps: 'Sketches' for layered files & then 'Splice' (unpaid version :-) for editing.
The Lockstep… sorry… Lockdown has granted time for exploring ideas.
Thank you for that. All is not lost. LOL!

Far from a polished production. I did what I could with what I had. I guess that's the 'moral' of the story.
The best part was finally recording with my brother.

Raw and imperfect, just like all of us and life itself.
Today it is (was) September 11, 2020 - 19 years after the event that changed the 21st century world forever …and here we are again, still. We find ourselves locked into the same global fear and confusion; the food of division and control. We must stop blindly gorging ourselves on the slops fed to us, by THEM. There is a far greater feast to attend.
Love conquers Fear. The Hour Of Power Is NOW!
Love & prayers for those who lost family, friends & colleagues in the attacks of September 11, 2001.
Thank you for listening. More to come.

Notes
It was pleasantly strange the way this project came together. A very unexpected journey indeed. With great fortune, I picked up a familiar passenger along the way - one whom I trusted to take the wheel. A huge Thank You to Peter Enright for your editing, patience & mostly your images breathed life into this mysterious little song - one which had been put out to graze in the nano-pasture of a dusty drive, unexpectedly resurrected.
’Twas both a pleasure and a privilege to work together again - three & a half decades later & 4000 kms apart. Ain’t it strange the way things go?! Respect for being on board mate, Cheers!
Timing is everything.
Geek Speak
This was recorded on a ZOOM H4 - just to get it down. Onboard stereo mic suspended 10cm or so above a glass ashtray for a tad more ‘live vibe’. 10 odd years later, fed the level a bit of meat & slapped on some basic EQ with a kiss of compression in Audacity (great free program) and it seems acceptable enough to give away …to release into the wild.
Many thanks to my very wise friend for his friendly audionic tips :)
