ChinnyVision - Ep 115 - The Amazing TRUE Story Of How Amstrad Bought Sinclair
In April 1986 it was announced that Amstrad had acquired Sinclair for 5 million pounds. But how and why did this happen? ChinnyVision looks at this momentous event in UK computing.
Let us journey back to 1986 when Alan Sugar met Sir Clive Sinclair.
Off to the circus to play this multi event circus game on the Amiga 600, Amstrad CPC, Sinclair Spectrum and Commodore 64. All read hardware.

200 games? In one box? From a shop! My this is the kind of thing that needs investigating. But what treasures will lie within? Megadrive games? Arcade games? Who knows. It certainly won't be an NES on a chip device with 200 hilarious knock of games, will it?

Known as Buster Brothers in Japan, Pang was converted to the home systems by Ocean and hit the shops in the run up to Christmas 1990. We review the Atari ST, Amiga, C64 and Spectrum version on the original hardware. We also look at the GX4000 version via emulation (sorry, no original machine here).

Street Machine is a top down racer from Software Invasion for the Amstrad CPC and Commodore 64. The review in Amstrad Computer User promised alot so I simply had to investigate. Racer your car in different weather conditions and repair damaged parts. I fire up my CPC 6128 and Commodore 64 to find out what the game holds in store.

The classic arcade game Moon Patrol got a fairly good port to the Atari 8 bits, bit this new port addresses some niggly problems and adds some polish. So we fired up our new 130XE to take a look (the video says its the 65XE but it was the 130XE used).

Five NEW games for the Atari 8 bit games, some of which ported from existing systems. Time Pilot, Total Eclipse, Ziggy, Drudarium and Jack The Nipper are the games, all running on my Atari 65 XE.
Note, all the games here run on a standard 64k Atari. I don't own a 128k machine so please don't ask why certain games are not covered. This is a REAL HARDWARE channel.
