Recording acoustics drums is one of the most challenging jobs a recording engineer can face during recording a song with a band.
A demonstration of how to practice recording acoustic drums using few budget microphones (Behringer Ultravoice XM8500) and my JTS NX-2 Pro Kick Drum Mic (any large kick drum mic will do) with simple microphone setup. It's a great way to start practicing the art of drums recording.
Connected to my PreSonus Audiobox 1818VSL and recorded and edited in MAGIX Samplitude Music Studio 2017.

Time to sand down the outer Fiber-Cement cladding board plaster. Took me a whole day to sand it down. Now ready for painting preparation.
I also tested the noise level of my exhaust fan, to check and see how loud the noise it makes.
Maybe some change of plans too...
