This seems to happen mostly after sessions where a lot of reduction in contractions has been observed. You get these little involuntary movements in the digits. I have learnt over time not to worry. Boring video but just part of documenting phenomena.

By letting things happen, some very weird things start to occur. This seems to be where the dystonia wants something. It feels like it wants me to panic and start to try to resist. I just don't and it calms down.

This change took place just after a dystonia workout session. Splints never got me these kind of results.
Here my ring finger which normally sticks up in the air, especially on the descent of a scale, has calmed down and sort of fallen back to the point where it appears a little dead! It's not! Lol! It's just relearning to inhibit itself.

Without any conscious effort my hand just by being near the fretboard started to move. It then calmed to virtually nothing. Amazing!
