Do you have to give your Social security number to the police, schools, doctors, hospitals, retail stores, online services, libraries, parking garages?
Who is required and approved to take your social security number?
In my research, the only people I found recognized to take your social security are the following:
The IRS on your tax return
Banks
Your Employer
Government programs
federal loan applications
credit reports
the department of motor vehicles.
However, in some cases, such as a hospital or doctors office, they may require it for their benefit to help identify you in case you do not pay them for your services and in some cases may refuse to serve you if you do not comply or if you can not provide other identification to make them feel comfortable in providing treatment to you.
If a person is persistent, you may ask them for the Federal statute that requires them to obtain your SS # from you. I am not a lawyer and can not provide legal advice nor am I providing any in this video or commentary, but I am not aware of any group other than the ones mentioned that has been authorized to require your SS#.

Here is how I make a very low cost snack that looks like I spent a lot of time and trouble but are actually super quick to make. Once you form and freeze your ice cream patties you can make sandwiches with them using soft cookies or cookies you have heated in the microwave for a few seconds to soften them.
I am working on a recipe to make little round cakes that I can freeze with the ice cream and will not be hard to chew. I will add the link to it in the video when I post it.
You can also use yogurt in place of ice cream to make your dessert cookies.
Don't forget I have hundreds of other videos and many playlists including a cooking playlist and I add new videos weekly.

The state of Florida is finally getting serious about getting rid of giant pythons in Florida. However, I think they are going about it in the wrong way. instead of paying people to hunt a wily predator as a python, they should spend their time coming up with the best traps and placing as many s possible in the swamps.
Here is my idea for a python trap. I think it would work and pay for itself with the first couple of snakes. Let me know what you guys think and how you would improve it or make a better trap.

if you are over 50 you may be able to take an online drivers course sponsored by your insurance company and upon completion obrtain a reduction in your insurance cost. I was able to take a course via Geico that gave me %10 off my premiums for the next three years, a substantial savings.
An added benefit is I learend a few things to make me a beter and sager driver.
The course is not short, you have to do a lot of reading and take a short 4 question quiz after each part and then a 40 question quiz at the end.
I hope you are able to take advantage of this offer.

This is my attempt to make 3 meals for a total cost of one dollar. It is for fun and to learn more about cooking. I am not trying to prove anything or make any point. I got the idea from Atomic Shrimp.
I like to watch Atomic Shrimp. He has a wide variety of topics on his popular channel. We Youtubers are told that becoming popular making videos on many topics is impossible to do- we need to stick to one subject. Apparently, Atomic shrimp did not get the message. As a fellow Youtuber who also makes videos on everything imaginable I am inspired by Atomic Shrimp and hope maybe one day my channel will get more popular too, but in the meantime, I am having a lot of fun making videos on many topics. I also appreciate all of my viewers very much.
My food challenge is different from Atomic Shrimp. He took a one pound coin, which is about $1.38 US, and made three meals from what he could find in the store in one day, or take off of people plates left behind in a restaurant or from foraged items or condiments asked for at restaurants.
Thanks to Covid, I do not feel like spending a lot of time in the store or in any restaurant trying to obtain the lowest-cost food item. I go to the store at 7 AM once every 5 weeks. I get in and get out. Also, I am too introverted to ask workers in a restaurant to give me extra items like Atomic shrimp did.
My challenge allows me to use any food bought before and portion it out by weighing it on a scale to get the exact cost.
I realize a person with only one dollar will not have access to the food reserves I may have and going to a store with one dollar will be a harder challenge. However, everyone has advantages and disadvantages. Some of us live in rural areas where there is plenty to forage or room to grow food. Some of us live in areas like Atomic Shrimp where there are stores to buy single items at low prices. We all use what we have. I have few forage or garden opportunities but I do take full advantage of foods on sale I can store. I can remember not having any food and almost no money, which is a major reason I now buy a lot of food when it is on sale to eat later.
I did not charge for water or electricity or spices or condiments. Foraging, hunting, fishing, or gardening is allowed. Gluten is welcome.
Having said all of that, it was a very fun challenge and I learned a lot.
I learned I like carrots a lot more than I ever imagined and was pleased with how versatile they were.
I learned I have been using way too much cheese, I can get a very tasty meal using half of the cheese I normally use.
I also used half the amount of oil in my mac and cheese.
This challenge cost me $1.27 for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I think if I had used beans and lentils and rice and tortillas and ramen the cost could have been reduce

In ths video I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Festivus or hapyy Holiday; thank my subscribers who are using my Amazon link to make me a few dollars, introduce my DIY sailing Intex Explorer K2 inflatable kayak, talk about changes in focus on next years videos and drop a hint about an unusual DIY self improvement self motivational process I am experimenting with. In addition, if you are still reading this, I would like to say how terribly sorry I am for the terrible audio. I rarely film myself talking. Such terrible audio will not happen again.
As of today, December 9, 2018, the Intex Explorer inflatable K2 kayak is only $65, an amazing price. https://amzn.to/2Pqrhcx

I have used nasal rinse with baby shampoo and Listerine mouth wash a couple of times when I was starting to feel ill and I felt better the next day. I reread a recent study on using nasal rinse with shampoo and certain mouthwashes to reduce viral loads in the nose and throat and have decided to make changes to how I use them. Based upon the study in the Journal of Medical Virology I am increasing the time period I use them. I am rinsing at the beginning, middle, and end of my shower. The increased duration should increase the effectiveness of both the nasal rinse and mouthwash.
I will do this Sunday and Wednesday or if I have been somewhere that made me feel I need to use this nasal rinse.
I always make sure to use clean and sterile distilled water or appropriately boiled water to make any nasal rinse as any organisms in the water can be very harmful if squirted into the nose. Plain unboiled tap water in some areas is not safe to use for a nasal rinse unless treated.

My Canon Pixma printer was giving me an error code after I lost power during a print job and I could not get the printer to work or get past the error code. I was instructed to extend the paper tray but was at first extending the bottom tray. I needed to extend the top tray and it had to come out all the way and lock. I figured if I had a problem there might be others who had the same problem so made a quick video. Hope it helps.
I have a bunch of other printer videos in a playlist.
