JM Truth and Nathan Thompson claim my video of the Falcon Heavy launch to landing is 20 seconds longer than the official SpaceX footage. Why would that be? Let's take a look. And for a follow-up, see Reds Rhetoric's comparison of his Arabsat-6A footage to mine as well as the official launch footage for that mission as well:

Whatever remains of the comet is not nearly as bright, active, or condensed as the original intact nucleus prior to perihelion. It appears that our hopes for a great comet post-perihelion have been dashed.

Short answer, no. Although ISON shares certain interesting orbital similarities with the comet C/1680 V1, it's orbit is completely inconsistent with an orbital period of 333 years. Additionally, neither the comet of 1347 nor 1014 possessed an orbit similar to either ISON or the great comet of 1680.

WSO claims it's impossible that the eclipses seen in August and again a few days ago on October 30th were due to the moon because they occurred in different directions relative to the sun. That sounds sensible and logical, but is it? Tonight we test to see if it really was the moon, or something else.
