Metallica - King Nothing FULL Guitar Cover

Another redo off the Load album. This time King Nothing gets the special treatment it craved years ago.
The original video I did way back was lacking in a lot of departments and I was not aware of the isolated tracks that existed for it back then. So I dug into them this time round and discovered a few things that you don't really hear in the final studio master. For one, I redid all the drums and used a different drum program to get a stronger present sound. The previous drum sound I used was too weak and I had very little knowledge back then of how to create a proper sound and fill the room.
In regards to the Rhythm sections, the isolated guitars have a few extra sections in them that is almost not audible when you listen to the studio recording as a whole, but they fill in the entire song very well and I had to include ALL the guitars this time. The main verse riff seems to be tabbed out on the internet incorrectly and most of the lessons or tabs show it as a 6 5 3 tail. While Metallica plays the main riff like this live, the do not play it the same on the recording. The 3 only get's used as the tail end of the riff every 4th time it loops.
I also noticed that the beginning of the solo is tabbed out as unison bends, while it is very clearly played as octaves. This helped me better understand and recreate the solo correctly. Those bends never did sound right to me and you can get catch a glimpse of those notes played live on just a few videos. The flange intro is also played at the 16the fret bend upwards to the 17th on the high e string, which is also incorrectly tabbed as just the 17th fret on the b string played on every beat...
All in all I'm Extremely Happy with the outcome. SO here's the final breakdown of what has changed:
1: Correct Tempo
2: Correct Drums
3: Real Bass
4: Correct Rhythm Sections
5: ALL Guitars Included
6: Better Video Recording (No More Dark Spots)
7: Better Mixing and Mastering

One of my favorite albums of all time is Enthrone Darkness Triumphant from the old school Dimmu days. This song definitely needed a good cover as there are very few good ones on here. So here you go guys.
So it seems that the tabs out there and the lessons on youtube are all about 50% correct. I almost made the same mistakes as most guys did and had to rerecord my video with the right (more accurate) way of playing. There are two guitars doing two different things at the same time in most parts of the song and it took me a great amount of video searching and listening to figure it all out. There is an old school video from 98/99 that shows the fingering position of both guitarist and that helped me a lot. As always I use Emissary Amp and Cab Sims and for the Keyboard sounds I actually went digging on the net to find the Korg sound banks for this album in vst format.

Can't get enough of this band!! WASP is king when it comes to lyrical content and although the guitar parts aren't always difficult to play, it shows that you don't need extreme rhythms to write excellent music.
This entire album is just one piece of amazing musical composition, so I had to do another cover from this great band.

Well, this is it guys...
One of the most asked for video on youtube, played on a normal electric guitar with no B-Bender. This song has been looming over my head for a very long time and I have tried multiple times to cover it, but that B-Bender is always in the way of me finishing it. So I tried again, but this time doing it a bit more creatively.
This song is so underrated that even Metallica themselves don't play it live. The only two times this happened was almost a decade apart from each other. I had to try and cover this as best I could, even if that meant that I had to improvise on the bending parts.
Lots of videos show an alternative way of playing the main clean riff, but I wanted to try and play it as close as possible to the original recording.
So, this is me, doing my best at one of the most beautiful songs written by the best band in the world...

Yet another In Flames song from the early days. The Jester Race is such an amazing album full of those melodic riffs we came to know from In Flames. Early In Flames songs are much more melodic and the two guitars usually compliment each other very well.
I had to try my hand at this one as there were very few newer covers of this amazing track. The older covers on youtube were also mostly played the "live" way and I wanted to showcase the original studio version more as there were almost no complete cover of it on youtube showing all the guitars invovled. The tabs are, as always, very incorrect and those verse riffs are played very differently than what is tabbed. I watched a few live shows to see what was going on and used the good old ears to decipher the rest. It's a pretty easy tune to play and was lots of fun to do.
