Question: “I recently listened to a podcast on anti-natalism. And needless to say it left me churning for the last few days. The pro-anti-natalist made the point that due to the vast amount of suffering in the world verses the sparse amount of pleasure/good that if we were to look at things from the perspective of the as yet to exist child that the said child would obviously choose nonexistence. I can almost understand this proposition but find myself in the end disagreeing with it. Now this brings up a few conundrums for me. Firstly in order to have any opinion/perspective a thing would have to exist in some form, so then wouldn't a person be causing undo suffering by consciously denying that hypothetical child the opportunity to experience whether it is full of pain or not. It seems to me that this is almost a case of the grass is always greener on the other side wherein from a materialist perspective (I'm not exactly a certifiable materialist) there is no such thing as nothingness outside of the human mind. Even in quantum mechanics a seemingly empty space has the potential to spontaneously produce little bits and pieces. So how in the real world would we have any concept on whether nothingness would be better than even the most painful experiences?”

Tara Reade has accused current presidential candidate (and former Vice President) Joe Biden of sexually assaulting her when she worked in his Senate office in 1993.
If true, it was unambiguous assault by Biden. According to Reade, he began orally kissing her without her permission, pushed her up against a wall, reached up under her skirt, and roughly penetrated her vagina with his fingers.
"He said 'come on man, I heard you liked me,'" Reade recalled in an interview. "For me, it was like, everything shattered. I looked up to him, he was like my father's age, he was this champion of women's rights, in my eyes. I couldn't believe it was happening. It was surreal."
Reade had previously complained to her bosses about sexual harassment in Biden's office - a supervisor had asked her to serve drinks at an event because she had attractive legs.
In 2019, Reade said that there was rampant sexism among Biden staffers but that the problem was not Biden himself.
The recent precedent set by the mainstream media and leftists during the Kavanaugh horror is this:
All accusations should be reinvestigated, no matter how old.
Blasey Ford’s accusations against Kavanaugh were far less credible – she accused Kavanaugh of actions from his teenage years in the early 1980s.
Reade’s accusations concern an explicit sexual assault that Joe Biden committed while he was a sitting U.S. senator.
Joe Biden himself has publicly taken the position that all women should be believed, no matter how much time it takes for them to come forward.
The whole #metoo movement is being revealed as a leftist “dirty tricks” campaign.
Actress – and Biden supporter – Alyssa Milano says she never thought #MeToo would ‘destroy innocent men.’”
"I believe that even though we should believe women, and that is an important thing, what that statement really means is that for so long, the go-to has been not to believe them," said Milano. "We have to societally change that mindset to believing women, but that does not mean at the expense of not giving men their due process and investigating situations. It's got to be fair in both directions."

Hi Stef,
My name is [X], I'm 24 years old, and for my whole adult life I've had cycles of anxiety which have manifested in relationship anxiety, work anxiety, insomnia, and various phantom/fake health issues for which there is no physical evidence.
Most of the time the anxiety is mild and manageable, and I'm generally a happy positive person who enjoys his life. I have a wonderful girlfriend whom I've been seeing for 3 months, and we have long term plans for marriage and having a family. My work pays pretty well and has decent future prospects, and overall I'm happy with my life. However every so often I'll have a wave of major anxiety which will make everyday life very difficult, and all I'll really be able to manage is the basics of going to work, exercising etc. This will then go away again for months or even years and I'll feel fine, before returning in another form for weeks or months, then once again going away.
I'm going through one of these waves right now. In the past I've always considered calling in, but haven't, maybe because I'm scared on some level of what the conversation could uncover. Instead I just tried to manage the symptoms until they went away.
However I've realised now that this is holding my life back. Whenever I think of the big plans for my life, like having kids, owning a business or getting a higher paying job, I know in the back of my mind that another wave of anxiety could come sooner or later, and ruin my plans.
I also don't think it's fair to my girlfriend or future kids to not deal with this issue, for obvious reasons. And the best way I can think of dealing with it is to call into Freedomain with an open mind, as I've listened to many call in shows and don't know of anyone who has been more successful in helping people get to the root causes of their issues.
Thank you Stef for all the good work that you do.
