Biggest Lie in all Christendom NO NEED to OVERCOME The biggest lie in all Christendom is that you don’t need to overcome. The false prophets preach this message continually and the churches preach this message because they are full of demons who have spoken this false gospel from hell to pastors who, to their demise, have believed this false gospel and spread this lie to their congregation. How many churches have received the false easy grace gospel, the devil’s gospel that says you can continue to sin and that in the end you will find forgiveness? Jesus did NOT even elude to the lie that you can continue to sin, He called people to STOP SINNING, to live HOLY to live PERFECT as their Father in Heaven is perfect. Christians know their bible, we know what the Apostle Paul wrote. He said; “Do not be overcome by evil but OVERCOME evil with GOOD.” Jesus enforced the gospel of true repentance, righteousness and that all children of GOD must overcome. I want to give a few examples from when Jesus was speaking to the churches; Revelation chapter 2 verse 7, Jesus says; “To him who OVERCOMES I will give to eat from the tree of LIFE which is in the midst of the paradise of GOD.” Revelation chapter 2 verse 17; “To him who OVERCOMES I will give some of the hidden manna to eat and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.” And again Jesus says in Revelation chapter 3 verse 5; “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments and I will not blot his name from the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” The gospel message is loud and clear, Jesus’s words are loud and clear, if you overcome God is going to bless you, He is going to give you everlasting life, He will secure your name and your future because He Himself IS the future! He loves us, He will protect us, He will guide us into everlasting life. But on the opposite end, if you do not overcome your sin problem God is going to curse you, even if you’re name was in the Book of Life, if you got that far, if you received Jesus, if you received His blood, you received His cross, you received His words, but then you turned your back on Him and when back to your sin, your name is going to be blotted OUT of the book of life! What do we think is going to happen if we don’t OVERCOME? The churches aren’t preaching this message, they are lying to the congregation. This is the biggest lie in ALL Christendom! The lie is you don’t have to overcome, that God has just made the way for you, that Jesus has paid it ALL on the cross, His blood covers over you, you can continue to be addicted to pornography, to drugs, to alcohol, loose living, you can live for YOURSELF. If we don’t overcome our SIN, if we don’t walk forward with Jesus we will perish in our sins. Jesus called us to REPENT and if we don’t REPENT, we will PERISH. This world is perishing in sin because they refuse to come into the light of the truth. Jesus is the light HE is the truth. But we have to HATE what is evil, we have to HATE darkness. Jesus loves you, He loves all of us. In fact God loves the world so much that Jesus came and He died for our sins that we wouldn’t have to go to HELL. But that is NOT the full gospel, the gospel is not just that Jesus died and that He loves us, the true gospel is THEN we have to OVERCOME, we have to put our faith in Jesus Christ and when we OVERCOME we are more than conquerors. Jesus gives us His wisdom and His Kingdom, His power to overcome darkness and evil, we have the power to cast out demons. He puts His righteousness in us, we become a new creation. But the gospel is, if we do NOT overcome, then our names will be BLOTTED OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE! You will still be walking yourself to hell even if you have believed the gospel, you know about Jesus, you know all the scriptures, IF YOU STILL HAVE SIN IN YOUR LIFE, it’s like that bit of leaven, that bit of hypocrisy that leavens the whole lump. Remember all those parables about the Kingdom of God? That leaven that is hidden IS SIN and unless you get sin out of your life it’s going to pollute your entire life. You have to OVERCOME, come OUT of the world. Stop serving yourself, stop serving the flesh. Stop putting your security in the arm of the flesh. Get your eyes off of the worries of the world and seek first the righteousness of God and His Kingdom. Start preaching His gospel, start living for the TRUTH. Don’t listen to the false liars in church, the Christians who are there. Don’t listen to the false prophets the false pastors who are saying that you can continue to sin and that God will forgive you. It’s true that God will forgive those who REPENT AND OVERCOME, but unless you OVERCOME your sin you will by no means inherit everlasting life. CHRISTIANS Does Your Faith Have ANY Substance? So, the question that I want to ask you today is DOES YOUR FAITH REALLY HAVE SUBSTANCE? The apostle wrote that; NO other foundation can be laid other than that which is already laid, that is Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 3:11) I have been in a lot of Christian churches, not recently, but I grew up in church, and these churches claim to have substance. They claim to have Jesus, they will even say that it is about JESUS CHRIST, a relationship with Him, NOT about religion. But these same folks surround themselves with DEAD religion. It becomes to them all about bible study, all about the knowledge of the bible, all about Christian fellowship, all about their church attendance, all about their tithe, all of these RELIGIOUS things. They surround themselves with all of these things and it becomes this “Christian” illusion, and illusion that we are men and women of God. For some it’s also about how they LOOK, if they drive a nice car, if they live in a nice house, if the have a nice-looking family, if they wear a tie… then they think that they are good upright people, BUT THEY ARE MISSING THEIR SUBSTANCE! Is the substance of our faith JESUS CHRIST? Are we really EATING HIS FLESH AND DRINKING HIS BLOOD? I’m not talking about a ritualistic thing in the Catholic church. Are we really eating Jesus’ flesh and drinking HIS blood? In other words, is Jesus really in us? Are we in Him? Are we literally hearing from GOD when we pray? Or are we JUST hearing from the pastor? Are we just getting into the bible like a theologian and hearing more sermons, hearing more bible studies, do we think that we are finding life in the bible? The bible is NOT the substance to our faith, neither is church attendance or anything like that. JESUS is the SUBSTANCE to our faith HE IS OUR FOUNDATION. For most Christians if you were to strip away their Bible, they would have no substance to their faith, their faith revolves around other people’s opinion, you know other Christians in their church, their bible studies. If you were to just strip away their friends and their bible, THEY WOULD HAVE NO FAITH LEFT, they’d just fall over, they would die. Is our substance REALLY in JESUS? Is He the reality of our faith because we are in Him, He is in us, we are eating His flesh and drinking His blood, we are having a real WORD from GOD daily? Is He sustaining us? Is He in our veins to our very core? Is He the essence of our being? Or are we just FAKE CHRISTIANS because we have surrounded ourselves with all of this STUFF that makes us LOOK good, that makes us LOOK like we are a Christian, but we have no substance? Are we living an illusion? Or do we really have that substance in Jesus Christ, are we hearing from Jesus DAILY? Check yourself and see if you are really ALIVE spiritually, or if you are a dead Christian that appears to be alive because you got your bible, your Christian friends, your tie, your nice car, your church… or whatever it is you have… DO YOU REAY HAVE JESUS CHRIST?
