The Gen2 Bottom Metal has the same functionality that made the Gen1 so popular and we added a more comfortable trigger guard. The contour is more narrow in the rear making the reach to the trigger more comfortable. Additionally, we created an arced profile over the entire guard so there are no sharp edges to catch on.
