The NSW Insert Challenge offered a glimpse into the capabilities and cognitive, character and leadership traits that the Navy requires in the intrepid men and women who aspire to join the SEAL and SWCC teams.
NSWCEN provides initial assessment and selection and subsequent advanced training to the Sailors who make up the Navy’s SEAL and Special Boat Teams.

US Military #News - U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Justin Lindstrom, a ground intelligence officer with 3rd Intelligence Battalion, III MEF Information Group, explains the importance of intelligence for Battlespace Surveillance Company Field Exercise, on Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 13, 2021.
Lindstrom is a Dallas, Texas native. Both METOC Platoon and Ground Sensor Platoon Marines utilized the exercise to evaluate training requirements and conducted force on force training evolutions. BSCFEX enabled III MIG Marines to remain an asset to III Marine Expeditionary Force by maintaining their readiness and lethality while being forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific region. #USMilitary #Military

US Military #News - The 5th Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, part of the 10th Army Air & Missile Defense Command, completed the first live-fire of the maneuver short-range air defense weapon system at the tactical unit level and the first-ever live-fire of the system in Europe on Oct. 7, 2021. The week-long training took place at the Putlos Bundeswehr range on the Baltic Sea coast of Germany. #USA #USNews
The purpose of the week’s training was to demonstrate the capabilities of the M-SHORAD Stryker. Members of 3rd Platoon, Alpha Battery engaged ground targets with the 7.62mm machine gun and aerial drone targets with three Stinger missiles.
