FNAF 8-Bit Mini Games
I love the aesthetic of these, they remind me of the Atari 2600 games I used to play as a kid! Only these have a darker scarier side for obvious reasons!
The death minigames are random, rare events that may occur when the player is killed by any of the animatronics in few Five Nights at Freddy's games. The player is taken to a minigame that is very reminiscent of an Atari 2600 game involving various tasks, in which the player controls a certain animatronic.

Possibly the greatest boys trainers of all time, with the greatest advert and extras that can with the shoes!
Circa 1985 I think (based on my memory of a certain combination of things I recall at the time).
Intentional or not there's a definite Tron theme running through the whole marketing campaign, especially the advert. Once the kid enters his computer game he fights a robot and then something that looks almost identical to the Master Control Program in Tron.
Being a big fan of Tron, a fan of computer games and being about 7 at the time, this advert really hooked me. My Mum bless her bought me a pair and they were the greatest thing. Sealing the coolness was that they came with a poster of the bad guy!
Did you have a pair? Do you remember the advert? Tell me about it in the comments!!

Infocom Source Code - Test & Development Files...
As promised these are the "test and development" files from the Infocom Hard Drive (USR Directory).
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1OIZuQ9hJ9PDHX5t-X2onYU4isOC0bvmZ
As explained in the video my due diligence on this was...
1. Shared my copy of the Infocom Hard Drive with Dave Lebling.
2. Dave reviewed it and confirmed that my copy had already been curated and contained no private mail, private chat, personal or financial information.
3. I further offered to reorganise the structure to remove the names of the Testers (further anonymising it) and have only the projects by project name.
Please download ZILF 0.9 as you will need this to compile the projects.
Enjoy!

This is starting a new series I'm going to call "Summer of 88" :) Mainly because the period captured is between 1988 and 1996. I might change it to Summer of 96 because that seems like a play on Brian Adams "Summer of 69" :)
So what is this series? Think "My Retro Life" but with much less video games, much more general "out and about" stuff, and set in the UK!

From about 1980 this video shows what life was like in the Atari Users Group. A fascinating slice of life video and a historical gem in its own right.
