A Cyberpunk 2077 live-action movie in collab with Anonymous? Patch 2.01 complete breakdown of fixes? The future of the Cyberpunk IP and Orion? Today's Cyberpunk 2077 news is mind-meltingly awesome so today I figured I would share some Patch 2.01 notes as well as a ton of new info coming out of the CDPR investors call. Enjoy!
In Today's Cyberpunk 2077 video we’re looking at all the Ads and advertisements in Cyberpunk 2077 + Night City and explaining what they are and what they mean.
From Cyberpunk 2077's logos to vendors to all those stereotypical larger than life full scale building ads and advertisements that the Cyberpunk genre is known for.
The 48 minute gameplay demo had an incredible amount of ads you may have missed so lets go through them and point some of the obvious and well-hidden ones.
Starting off in the Scav lair we can see some boxes with the Logo for DTR. Now DTR is a shipping conglomerate in Night City and you frequent see them all over the place, mostly on boxes and small adverts.
As we carry Sandra Dorsett onto the Balcony for Trauma Team to rush to her aid, we see an open complex with some of our first ads and logos.
First we have Kiroshi. Now Kiroshi is a Japanese cyberoptic manufacturer in Night City. This is the company that makes V’s optical scanner, and whose actual Logo can be seen in the O in Kiroshi. Next we have Riot which is a Night Club or bar in Night City. We know this because of this gameplay demo screenshot. lIn this screenshot there is a poster for Riot referencing Lights music, dancing and partying non stop. We also see Below Deck, which we will explain later in the video.
Next we have Turbo which is most likely a reference to Supercars. This has similar lettering to the V Tech Quadra logo on Jackies super car later in the demo, so this could be a car parts store or even a dealership of sorts. We have Fuyutsuki and Hometown deli which are both as you can imagine, restaurants in Night City. Fuyustuki is most definitely japanese.
We see a sign that says “POD” on it as well which could be a reference to these Japanese Pods that they have in densely populated cities for people to rest and relax in.
A little later in this sequence we see a peep show sign, which is a form of strip tease where the stripper is behind a window.
Next we have V’s apartment. Now on the table we see Stanley Media as the Radio station being played, and 2 more curious things. We see the Vodka on the table, whose logo seems eerily similar to Cyberpunk game of 2017 Observer. Take a look at the covers and let me know what you think. We also see a take away bag from Tom’s diner, which is an old school diner, we walk through later on in the demo.
As V opens the blinds of her apartment buildings windows, we see the city and the boisterous ads the cyberpunk genre and cyberpunk 2077 is known for. Devon strikes me as a prostitution service or a sex cyborg. The ad features a woman with 3 mouths and a white substance dripping out.
Now under it is says 3 mouths 1 desire the Sasha devon experience. Maybe this is a famous prostiture or joygirl in Nig

Today's Cyberpunk 2077 is EVERYTHING WE KNOW, with ALL the details we have from 2018 GOING INTO 2019 and the new year. This will include character progression and customization, first person perspective, third person perspective, vehicles, combat, the world, combat systems, melee systems, apartments, romance, release dates, weapons, stats, levelling, enemies, characters and NPCS, as well as multiplayer and more
Cyberpunk 2077 is a single player story driven experience made by CD Projekt Red.
Cyberpunk 2077 is releasing on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox one, and although not announced yet, may also come out for next generation consoles.
Cyberpunk 2077 takes place in the free state of North California in the coastal dystopia of Night City.
The timeline of events have been altered by CD Projekt Red from the original Pondsmith era Cyberpunk timeline to fit with the events that will happen in their vision of the game.
Night City is divided into 6 districts.
Cyberpunk 2077 shifts from The Witcher 3’s third person perspective and opts for a First Person perspective experience mainly due to CD Projekt Red’s belief that this will help with the immersion and story-telling of the game. There is also the reasoning that the map of Cyberpunk is very much vertically built.
There are options like photo mode, 3rd person cut-scenes, and driving in third person as confirmed features for those that really want to see their characters, and how they look. There will be no loading screens making the world feel immersive and seamless.
In Cyberpunk 2077 you play as V, who is fully customizable verus Geralt from the Witcher who was very much set in stone personality and looks wise. This customization includes choosing your character’s gender, body, face, hair, tattoos and clothing options. Your back story will also be customizable and will influence what happens to you in the main quest line.
There isn’t a fixed class system and this allows you to play your character as you see fit and in any combination of a Netrunner, techie and solo class. Netrunners are hackers and is focused on stealth, and assassinations. You can hack into a network of enemies and quick hack them to disable their weapon links and cyberware. Techies are the magyvers of the Cyberpunk world with the ability to craft items and equipment. Solos are all raw firepower and speed with the option to be movement ability focused, or heavy weapons focused.
Character progression is handled through levelling up and installing new cybernetics. You can level up stats like Strength, Constitution, Intelligence, Reflexes, Tech and Cool. There are also skills, perks, and mods in addition to give your character a lethality boost.
The quests in Cyberpunk 2077 will allow for emergent gameplay mechanics to be disp

In Today's Cyberpunk 2077 video we are going over everything you need to know about E3 2019 that we currently know going into it, from facts, to rumours and leaks. This is obviously going to be hyper specific to CD PROJEKT RED and Cyberpunk 2077. CD PROJEKT RED has claimed their biggest E3 ever, and how can you not when you have a massive poster like this enticing E3 attendees in LA, so let’s get into what we know about E3 2019 thus far.
Let’s start with June 9th where we will most likely see a Cyberpunk 2077 showcase or presentation of some sort at Microsoft’s E3 briefing. Rumors and speculation is a gameplay and or CGI trailer of some sort, gameplay showcased, and a possible release date. This showcase will likely be longer than what we saw last year with just the minute and a half E3 trailer at the end.
A NeoGaf user who claims to be an insider also mentions a gameplay trailer, a progress update on the game and a tentative release window. If you guys want something fun to do during this conference check out our friend NightCityLife’s E3 2019 Bingo card for Cyberpunk 2077 and play along.
Earlier yesterday we saw our first leak of what could be the collectors edition that could possibly be announced at E3 with this image online. In the original post the user says A friend of mine sent this to me over Discord. It's in Polish which is why the logo on the bottom-right is CD Projekt instead of Warner Bros as CDP are publishing the game in their homeland of Poland. This looks really well done to be a fake especially the little Night City postcard render and the artbook cover. The fact that they've got this ready to go makes me wonder if we'll be seeing a release date for 2020 at the Microsoft Presser. What do you think, Era?
Some users speculated that it might be a fake or a standard edition instead of a CE and put it next to a Witcher 3 standard edition, which it looked very similar content wise to. The “collectors edition” leak has been debunked by CDPR community manager Lilayah as not being a collector’s edition, but it still could potentially be a standard or middle tier version. There was also an image of a big box leaked online featuring Cyberpunk 2077 but the concensus seems to be it being a press kit or promo display materials for a game store post E3 since the background seems to look like a Gamestop or EB Games.
When it comes to the on floor event for attendees at E3 CD PROJEKT RED has confirmed that they will have a public showcase for the first time. They are partnering with Warner Bros their North American Distributor for a Cyberpunk 2077 public showcase where people at the event will be able to check out the game, being played by CDPR staff in the (South exhibit Hall?). There is also a private demo in the business are

Today we are doing a Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Reveal Analysis video. on August 27th CD Projekt Red streamed the Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay Reveal on Twitch and instantly garnered high praise.
I’ve split this video into a couple sections including hacking and netrunning, the details in the environment of night city, ads and products and what they are and mean, weapons, cyberware and boosters, the menu UI and HUD, screenshot appearances in the reveal as well as some extra fun details I think you guys will enjoy.

Owning a gun or a weapon has become more and more normal in the future, and Night City is no exception. Dangerous times, call for equipping oneself to react to whatever the streets might throw at you, and more and more people of different vocations are now carrying. Not only do law enforcement, corporate security, mercenaries and gangsters carry, but so do those merely trying to protect their livelihood like cab drivers, vendors and owners of businesses. Gun laws are pretty lax in night city, unless you step into a high profile location like a courthouse or police station. These buildings are guarded by heavy security and are extremely strict about carrying weapons and any implants with offensive potential.
In Night City, you can legally purchase most weapons, from the highly disposable Budget arms, or their do it yourself 3D printing kits, to more specialized weapons from more exclusive vendors.
Heavy weapons or weapons of war as they are called, undergo far more scrutiny and the sales of these weapons are prohibited within the boundaries of Night City. The exception to this rule is the corporations and their security forces to use at their discretion and for “public safety” as well as the elite tier of the NCPD, the Max Tac in combating the rampant threat of murderous Cyberpsychos.
Illegally, heavier firepower can be provided through a fixer with the right connections, at a considerable fee.
The weapon hierarchy in Night City is dominated by Asian Corporations. Arasaka, Tsunami and Kang Tao are considered to be the best in weapon manufacturing. Arasaka is one of the most intimidating Japanese corporations covering all elements of security including high grade weaponry, and Tsunami is also a highly distinguished Japanese corporation mostly focused on experimental and out of the box thinking and designs. Kang Tao is a newer company founded around 2050, who are known for their sophisticated “smart technology.”
The midtier largely belongs to the American corporations. Militech currently focuses heavily on the mid range of weapons due to their ability for mass production, and Midnight Arms focuses on Borg weapons which are a subcategory of weapons that can only be wielded by heavily augmented users.
Malorian arms have fallen from grace, as they were a bespoke and highly renowned company in the 20s. THey have yet to release a new model since 2043, but they still have a reputation for making handguns that pack a punch. Constitutional Arms makes standard mid tier machine guns and shotguns, and Techtronica have earned the name the “Russian Militech” due to their similarity in what they offer the market. They have recently included military robots in their offerings.
For those of you who are short on eddies and influence, look no further

Corporations are giant, multinational companies that dominate the world of Cyberpunk and Night City. They can range from simple media corporations, to agriculture corps to service and computing corps to worldwide security firms, and they will kill anyone and anything that stands in their way.
They operate 24/7, buying, selling or providing services to many around the world. Unlike businesses today, megacorporations in the Cyberpunk landscape are cutthroat and violence is actually a common occurrence within corporations as a way to work yourself up the ladder.
Blackmail, extortion, bribery, kidnapping and assassination are common place in Night City’s white collar world. Successful corporations don’t act above the law, because they are the Law.
As a Corpo, you always have to watch your back and many are highly paranoid of losing their place by those trailing them on the ladder.
The power structure is so that the CEO and president are at the top of the food chain with high level executives right under. You will typically see a power struggle and infighting amongst management, and lower leveled executives trying to work their way up in the world via dishonesty, manipulation and by blindsiding those around them.
There are many types of Corporations. Mediacorps are giant conglomerates that control the airwaves across the world. It is suspected many of the larger media corps have deep ties to the government.
Network news 54 is a 24 hour news station originating in the United States, and World News Service is a 24 hour news service across the world.
Agricorps were started as smaller family farms. After the world market collapse however, many farms were boarded up and their huge segments of land became barren from neglect. The larger farms survived the collapse and thus had more leverage with the smaller guys out of the way and started to buy up fertile land. By 2020 65% of farmland in the US was owned by corporations producing CHOOH2 a biofuel of the future.
Petrochem are the largest producer of CHOOH2. SovOil also produces Chooh2, but their product is inferior to SovOil.
Manufacturing corporations were least affected by the collapse. They range from producing vehicles to childrens toys.
Militech, who was formerly ArmaTech-Luccessi is a military arms giant.
Arasaka is a secutirities corp and a rival of militechs. EBM is a computer hardware manufacturer, and IEC manufacturers smaller components such as computer chips and hardware.
In the world of Cyberpunk almost everything revolves around a computer of some sort. Through Advanced tech and the emergence of the Net, Computing corporations have a firm grasp on the world of Night City.
Zetatech is a silicon valley software development corporation. Microtech creates workstation computers a

CDPR shattering yet another record, a Cyberpunk 2077 rip-off that you’re going to have to see to believe, a delay in the world of cyberpunk (don’t worry its not the game), and Silverhands arm, it’s origin and how we pointed out a detail about it a while back before it was somewhat officially confirmed all in today's Cyberpunk 2077 News!
First up we have CDPR officially surpassing Ubisoft to become the most valuable video game company in Europe in terms of Market capitalisation. Now although this number does fluctuate, this past Monday cemented CDPR at being worth a whopping 36.5 billion zloty, versus Ubisoft’s 35.6 billion zloty. Remember that Ubisoft drops a ton of titles in a given year and are slated to release Watch Dogs Legion, Gods and Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine, Assassins Creed Valhalla as well as an unknown title, versus CDPRs solo title Cyberpunk 2077.
So much for single player games being dead.
Moving on Developer Net Ease has announced a new mobile game titled Code: T which bares a striking resemblance to Cyberpunk 2077, it’s aesthetic and most definitely in what seems to be its protagonist. Now mobile games are notorious for essentially ripping off larger more successful games, and it really does seem like NetEase is teetering a very very fine line here. Now I’m no lawyer, but loopholes exist, and to be honest looking at this right now, it seems like a suit so early and at this stage is unlikely. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one, but I can foresee legal troubles for this studio as we learn more about it and how far they’ve poached elements from 2077.
Moving on we sadly have a delay on the World of Cyberpunk 2077 Lore book which was expected to launch in early June. It’s been pushed around a month to July 14th, so if you were expecting to get a dose of lore in the form of just under 100 pages of reading material, you’re going to have to wait a bit longer.
definitely A big bummer since the full release of the tabletop RPG Cyberpunk red has also been delayed due to supply chain issues.
Finally, we have a full trailer from Xbox about the development of the Cyberpunk 2077 console. I didn’t think it was going to be quite as interesting as it was, so check it out if you have yet to. Now if you remember my 30-minute-deep dive analysis, one of the bigger points we made was that whilst Johnny Silverhand opposed arasaka for things done to him in the source material lore of Cyberpunk 2020, his arm was manufactured by Araska if you took a deeper look. In this video they explicitly come out and say this, while mentioning the design process behind the Silverhand controller. As you can see the silver part of the controller has the Arasaka branding, as do the fibres that we pointed out have them in Silverhands arm.
We

A trailer for a Microsoft product featuring a look at not only the MASSIVE scale of Night City, but also an insane musical performance, an updated Q&A from CDPR via GameStar and the real translations and facts from some misinformation which has gone somewhat viral, some new characters from the world of Cyberpunk Red, one of which you may recognize, a new partnership for CD PROJEKT RED amongst a couple other interesting things in the world of Cyberpunk, in this weeks Cyberpunk 2077 News!
First up check out this brand-new trailer for the Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Controller where we get a quick glimpse of Night City and an out of control rock concert led by Samurai front-man Johnny Silverhand aka Keanu Reeves. I’m going to play it in it’s entirety for you guys then well do a mini analysis.
So as you can see, it’s a pretty hype trailer which might just feature a story from the Cyberpunk lore first told via Cyberpunk 2013’s Never Fade Away where Johnny Silverhand threw a rebellious concert, and convinced a massive crowd to start a riot and attack Arasaka Corp, whom he has a strong hatred for.
Going along with this same train of thought, CD PROJEKT RED has made it clear that there will be a performance or concert of sorts, similar to The Witcher 3 ‘s Priscilla Performance but on a much more massive scale. This could be exactly what they have planned for this, and with clubs and concerts being so prevalent in the Cyberpunk universe, expect to see more of these performances throughout the game.
We also get to see the density of a section of the city and what a top down view of the map would look like. This map has been confirmed to be Night City, and yes, we finally get to see it at Night, albeit only for a few seconds.
Moving on we have an updated Q&A that was mistranslated last week, with some corrections via Hillanoko. Big shoutout to him for translating a series of GameStar podcasts, and yes it seems unfortunately that the whole summoning programs in Cyberspace was actually in reference to Cyberpunk 2020, and not about the video game 2077. We do however have some fantastic, legit details that we are going to go through.
The first new point here is that despite the fact that people have seen over an hour of gameplay, Pawel Sasko mentions that “players have seen nothing yet” and that devs are able to test the “cook” at home, which is the code for the current build. It’s mentioned that a fair amount of devs enjoy playing the game after work to wind down.
It was also disclosed that certain objects have values allowing NPC’s to listen and or see through them to a certain degree based on the object. Concrete doesn’t let you see through, but if it’s a thinner material, NPCs can hear through it. SO, material can dampen so
