Francis Ngannou, also known as “The Predator”, is a UFC heavyweight mixed martial artist who has fought his way up through poverty and homelessness to become poised on the edge of championship greatness.

Through sheer tenacity and ferocious power Ngannou has amassed an ever-expanding fortune over the last five years in the UFC, earning Performance of the Night bonuses and huge purses through his quick knockouts and fiery Octagon persona.

Despite his public image as a force of nature, in his private life Ngannou has a heart for his family, his community of origin, and every kid like him who grew up with an impossible dream. And he puts his money behind that passion.

Francis Ngannou made a name for himself quickly in the UFC and sits at an overall professional record of 15 and 3 with the vast majority of these wins via knockout. Ngannou is a big fighter, a striker who once dreamed of becoming a professional boxer, with a unique agility for someone with such a large frame.
This uncanny speed has helped him quickly dispatch his opponents, often in the first or second round, and has earned him five Performance of the Night bonuses since he began his UFC career in 2015, at $50,000 each.

At the start of his UFC run, Ngannou earned a mere $20,000 for his debut match with Luis Henrique, and half of that was due to his KO win. Things have definitely improved over time, and Ngannou has claimed that his biggest purse, against UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, was a whopping half a million dollars.
It’s unclear whether this amount included a bonus for winning, since Ngannou was unable to defeat Miocic for the title in 2018, but it’s still an impressive purse nonetheless.

Along with sponsorships and brand deals with Reebok, Toyo Tires, Gym King, Cryo Pain Relief, and Manscaped--all of which earn him between $50,000 and $100,000 each--Ngannou has gained a small fortune in his relatively short but strong career. As of 2020, his estimated net worth sits at about 3 million dollars.

Despite this, Ngannou lives a fairly humble lifestyle in a third-story apartment with a view in Las Vegas, Nevada. His apartment is sparsely furnished, nothing bolder than leather couches and a flatscreen TV.
He doesn’t splash out on expensive furniture, art, or gadgets, though he does have a penchant for looking the part of an MMA star, preferring to show up to interviews and press conferences in smart, expensive bespoke suits and sunglasses.
