Pokémon Diamond Version - Champion Cynthia
After beating the Elite Four, you’ll battle Cynthia. She has a full team with Pokémon knowing all sorts of great moves. Spiritomb will lead off with Embargo to prevent opponent from using items for 5 turns. It will also use Dark Pulse to make targets flinch and raise its stats using Silver Wind. Roserade will use Sludge Bomb to poison opponents and make them flinch using Extrasensory. Gastrodon will use Muddy Water to make opponents less accurate and Stone Edge for more critical hits. Lucario will use a never-miss move, Aura Sphere. If you use special attacks too much against Milotic, it will use Mirror Coat. Garchomp will be the tough part as its Dragon Rush move can make targets flinch 30% of the time as it strikes. After the battle, you’ll unlock some post-game quests.

Swanna will use Tailwind to speed its team up for 3 turns and Scald to burn opponents. Jumpluff will use Acrobatics while a Flying Gem powers it up for once. Drifblim will use Icy Wind to slow opponents down. Archeops will use Stone Edge for critical hits. Braviary will use Brave Bird for big damage and when it uses Superpower, it catches a break for once with a White Herb. Mandibuzz will use Nasty Plot to power up and Roost to restore its HP. A move like Thunderbolt works best against the opposing team.

Should you intend to use your own fire, ice, lightning, or poison spells, Tiamat will absorb them into healing. The spell you might want to use is the ones that could give Tiamat the slow status condition and then to boost your own stats. After the battle, continue to explore the castle.

Back on the surface, hit an invisible block by a Paratroopa and a garbage block above it for multiple coins. By a set of garbage blocks, hit one for a Star and you’ll see more enemies up ahead. After crossing over various holes, you’ll see a broken stairway that leads to the flagpole.

The walls that are shaded indigo are the false ones, so make sure you study the contrast of colors carefully. Even the spikes in indigo are fake, but the blue ones are real. After climbing a few ladders, you’ll encounter some hatchers that release plasma worms. Descend a few sections and you’ll next encounter a clown on a grinder. Where some suction propellers appear, use Item 2 to easily get across the spikes. Enter the cap door and you’ll next take on a gorilla bulldozer. The forehead of the gorilla will release some pellets. Use the Cakram Shield on the head to deal more damage. Defeat this bulldozer and you’ll advance to the next stage.

The whales will spout water so board where they spout water and don’t touch the walls of the spouts. Snifits and Shy Guys are on some whales plus a pipe warps you to World 6. You’ll find 2 A Coins, each over the tails of whales. Continue ahead and pull a vegetable to have a rocket take you to the mountains. The 5th A Coin floats high just before the pit of spikes so power jump to get it. Board an Autobombs over spikes and you’ll see Porcupos. Enter the door to the boss room and hit Birdo with objects 3 times to grab the jewel and open the Mask Gate.
