Project Zomboid | Best Zombie Survival Simulator So Far!
This is not a review, the game is still in early access. I show what the game is like in a two hour video without any editing so that you guys can decide if the game is for you or not. I am in no way an expert yet, I bought it during Steam sales and I do not regret it. Awesome zombie game and that has much potential to be the best zombie game. There's plenty of mods you can download with the steam workshop as well, giving you tons of replay value, very fun, addicting, and punishing if being reckless!
Enjoy the video!

Half-Life is a first-person shooter video game developed by Valve and published by Sierra Studios for Microsoft Windows in 1998. It was Valve's debut product and the first game in the Half-Life series. Players assume the role of Gordon Freeman, a scientist who must escape the Black Mesa Research Facility after it is invaded by aliens. The core gameplay consists of fighting alien and human enemies with a variety of weapons and solving puzzles.
Unlike many other games at the time, the player has almost uninterrupted control of Freeman, and the story is told mostly through scripted sequences seen through his eyes. Valve co-founder Gabe Newell said the team aimed to create an immersive world rather than a "shooting gallery". They built Half-Life using GoldSrc, a heavily modified version of the Quake engine, licensed from id Software.
Half-Life received acclaim for its graphics, realistic gameplay, and seamless narrative. It won over fifty PC "Game of the Year" awards and is considered one of the most influential FPS games as well as one of the best video games ever made. By 2008, it had sold over 9 million copies. It was followed by the expansion packs Opposing Force (1999) and Blue Shift (2001), developed by Gearbox Software. It was ported to the PlayStation 2 in 2001, along with another expansion Half-Life: Decay, and to macOS and Linux in 2013. Valve ported Half-Life to its Source engine in 2004, while a third-party remake, Black Mesa, was released in 2020.
Mirror's Edge is a game that while it ain't the greatest game I've played I love it for it's parkour gameplay. It really is a good one to do a speedrun. It is HARD to master it, because there's just so many ways to play it, so many paths, ways to make the game glitch to reach areas faster, and so on... I have not watched a single video while I was practicing, because I find it like I am cheating, I rather do it on my own first and when I feel like I cannot improve anymore it will be the time that I will look at the number one world record.
I am in no way trying to be the best speedrunner, I do it just for fun because surprisingly I like it. It gives me that rush that I miss with new video games, I remember in this video near the end I could feel like I was about to have a panic attack, I felt hot, my heart rate was increasing, I was breathing faster, and just... in a panicky state. I had this huge fear of fucking it all up and having to retry again. I'm sure you know what I mean, when you play old NES games and because you've run out of continues and you're at the last boss and you want to beat it, it can get pretty intense. It's not always fun, I got really mad a couple times when I was practicing, but it is all part of the experience I believe.
I've added HUD's for the first time and I do like the one above the screen, but the other one at the bottom that shows my keyboard keys and the mouse... I don't know if it is necessary. I used Nohboard and Livesplit. For the Macro to jump repeatingly I used Logitech G HUB.
One thing that was a bit freaky when I was playing the game is how close the game portrays what's happening in our world in 2022. The corrupted government and the police. If you look closely in the elevators there's digital screens with announcements, and it reminded me a lot of Covid-19, where we might end up in a few years if no action is taken. There's one where it says "The 5 signs of a runner" ours would be like... "The 5 signs of an anti-vaxx".
Anyways I won't go in too much details. Hopefully those who are into speedruns will enjoy it. I will work on a let's play now.
Take care.
I had no internet for a few days and I wanted to play some RDR2 to progress through the story since I was bored out of my mind, and when I launched the game, this is what popped up. I'm so done, I bought your game and I own it, I logged in to my account on your damn launcher on this computer many times with the internet on, there's no excuse for you guys to not give me access to the game, that I bought! Now don't go and complain when people are pirating your games because you are treating your fans and customers like shit.
I am aware that you could copy your videos inside an extended hard drive but with this method it is totally free and it doesn't take too much time, however if you have a slow internet you should invest to get a hard drive to transfer your videos to your PC instead.
Hopefully this was helpful. :slightly_smiling_face:
