NOTE: This version is 2.1.25, I would not recommend playing this version and focus on the latest (2.2.8). This version of SRB2 was released back in August 2019.

I think to truly understand my feelings on why the latest versions of SRB2 are so great, we must look back into the past. A five-year ride of Version 2.1 proved to be a very interesting step. Techno Hill Zone is probably the best part of Version 2.1. Here you will see some of the best and worst parts of the old stuff, and there will be a more in-depth comparison between the old and the new, because this zone is fairly unchanged, but there are still some specific differences. Overall, this zone got a much needed revamped, along with the first zone. But the best changes were made after this zone, ones that I cannot stress enough!

Onto the fourth world, one of the most polarizing worlds in the game! If you're a fan of mine carts, you will ABSOLUTELY love this world and if you're not? Well, guess what, that's the first three levels of this world. Unfortunately, unlike in Tropical Freeze, the mine cart matters were not implemented in the greatest manner. The first two levels in particular will clearly demonstrate what I'm referring to, as much as they were trying to make this awesome. Alas, this world has its flaws, but it's the shortest world in the game! Barring deaths, you will likely be in and out of this world without too much time off your hands!
The problem is getting through it all with a lot of your lives still intact!

Okay, there is a REASON why this is a part of the stream and not a boss battle. And I don't plan to go into much depth, all that will be said is to steal if you can and don't waste items nor MP to heal. If you guessed correctly, yes... this is a fight you CANNOT win!
Wow, to go from one of the easiest to one of the hardest (i.e. impossible) battles, thanks game!

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a serious review of the game by any means. This is merely a fun little exercise of exploring games that are often overlooked, with a questionable reputation or deemed bad by the general gaming community. The ultimate critic will be you, the viewer, as your opinions are pretty much
This was a pretty difficult game to review, but I feel that I've gotten a good and accurate opinion on this game and it might surprise you from my original hot take. Do not let the graphics and lack of polish fool you! The game certainly possesses some surprisingly good qualities that might be overlooked if you're too busy squinting at it! I feel that I could be attributed to this matter, but the game definitely is not a perfect product! I'll let you take a look at it for yourself and see what you think. Don't let MY opinion influence you if you see something that you like out of this game. Feel free to discuss and point out things that may have been missed!

We'll be talking about our last two characters in this game and be introduced to some new situations. However, as you can expect, it would be foolish to neglect Alfred and Gebel as they are with some of the strongest and/or most useful tools at your disposal. Sometimes, you're gonna need more than high jumps, slides, and solid DPS to get through the rest of the game. These two will do a wonderful job showcasing just how valuable your weapon points are in this game.
Now… only if they could leave me some once they're all done with the shenanigans!
Thanks for watching and enjoy the video!

Wow, it's interesting to come back to an old area after having been on the move and seeing all sorts of places. This place definitely has "simple" written all over it. But at the very least, there are changes to remind us that it's not a time where L'Arc and Alf were still friends, Adele wasn't a lunatic and Niko... well... he's still Niko. Crap!
But nothing could prepare me for what was to come ahead, NOTHING!

Hello everyone, starting up the Let's Play train with a new project, Sonic Robo Blast 2! While we don't exactly dive right into the game, we do get a bit of an introduction to what I feel is the best 3D Sonic experience to date. It captures much of the essence from the old Sonic games and implements surprisingly well in a 3D environment. Instead of having the camera handled by a haphazard autopilot, the PLAYER now has 99% control of the camera at least (end of level situations will prevent movement).
As a result, this game that was only released on the PC is one that has been in development for over 20 years and has reached a new plateau with the latest update! I would like to share the game with you along with my thoughts and feelings, expressing one of the highlights that I experienced late last year and still enjoy quite a bit to this date.
Welcome to the world of Sonic Meets Doom - Sonic Robo Blast 2!
Hope you enjoy the video!

If there's one thing that can be praised about Donkey Kong Country Returns, it's implementing old-school mechanics in a way that is somewhat fresh. Thanks to the 3D world that this game takes place in, you're no longer stuck to the left-to-right, up-to-down lifestyle. Now we have some nice new perspectives and of course, the interesting use of obstacles and other crafty elements.
But the number one thing that the DKC Returns series does MUCH better over its predecessors is the respawning system. The reason why dying in DKCR isn't all that bad is the game doing a great job not wasting your time upon losing a life. You're out of it and then you're back into the level without a minute-long pause. Speedrunners and casual players will both love this as it keeps you engaged in the game!
Coupled with some stunning new sights to show off and neat effects, one question does fall heavily upon any player's mind after getting through six levels... what's the boss like?
Hope you enjoy the video, share your thoughts!

Now that we've defeated Bloodless, we're truly within the castle now. The seventh stage takes place within a library and it is probably one of the longest levels in the game. It pays to have the whole crew with you and definitely do not forget the last special item in the game that's in plain sight near the beginning. With many death pits and platforming sections, you'll have to be careful or else you'll be losing characters left and right. At the end, you'll have to tangle with Bathin and his rather quick, but predictable attacks. Strangely, one of the easier bosses in the game.
Then the next stage is the last! And it's definitely one that'll freak you out, but it's great with the atmosphere. I don't want to spoil it though. All I'll ask is "What ARE those things..?"
Thanks for watching and enjoy the video!
