Prop Pumpkins - DIY Halloween Vlog 2016 #27: Pumpkin Finale!! Part 3 (Conclusion)
In this episode covering several days, I finish my prop pumpkins. Painting, liquid nails corpsing, and silicone caulk corpsing are covered in this video. Despite being heavily edited (it took me 30+ hours of editing to put this one out), the episode clocks in at just under an hour, but, it's not boring. Lots of bloopers today. Enjoy! In today's episode, I waste a lot of time on one of my prop pumpkins because I didn't bother to actually look at any pumpkin pictures prior to working on this one. I proceed to make a textured circle out of paper clay, which I think exists on pumpkins, but actually doesn't. I then make part of the of the stalk but couldn't finish it due to the weight of the clay on the wire. Once it dries, I'll finish the rest and go back and remove the texture lines from the circle. After that, this particular pumpkin will be ready (finally) for painting! So, follow along, enjoy the fun, and you can make prop pumpkins, too!
