Mark Devlin is a UK-based club and radio DJ and music journalist, specialising in black/dance music in its many forms. In recent years Mark has begun speaking about the dark forces that have been manipulating the music industry for decades. This led to the publication of his book Musical Truth in 2016, with Volume 2 following in early 2018. His debut novel, The Cause & The Cure, arrived early 2020.
Mark gave Common Knowledge Edinburgh his independent and courageous presence. We very much appreciated his voice and our education in truth and human freedom.
Is Edinburgh Council planning to tax cars for moving around the city freely and discourage movement outwith your own zone? How will this be created? Will it benefit you and your family? Who will it benefit? And why are they doing it?
Martin Watt is a concerned local professional examining the reasoning and planning behind this policy which threatens to do more harm than any sort of 'good' claimed by Edinburgh Council.

This is the Q&A from the event. The main talk is another video on this channel
Water is a fundamental part of our lives. We need it. But what is the quality of the water we are drinking? Derrick Emms explains what is happening to our water, what the effects are and what we can do about it.
If you stick to fundamental principles with health then you cannot go wrong. But what are those principles? And how do you apply them in the best way? Wendy Carson & Pauline McElroy help us navigate to a better, healthier lifestyle.
Retired Headteacher from Northern Ireland, Hugh McCarthy, is deeply concerned about what we are doing to our children.
Venue cancelled (again!) due to censorship, the talk proceeded outdoors in the balmy atmosphere of summertime Leith!
After graduation from medical school in Bristol I spent some years working as a clinician in both hospital and general practice before entering specialist public health training in Northern England. After completing this training I worked as a consultant epidemiologist then a consultant in PH Medicine for 5 years in Newcastle, before moving to the Scottish Borders. I remained in Borders as a CPHM until I retired in 2016 and over these years was very involved in training and also held an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer position at Uni of Edinburgh, teaching on the MPH course. I've published on a variety of subjects from the prevention of CVD to cataract extractions and served on a number of national committees in both England and Scotland.
I'd describe myself as a Scottish businessman. l've bought & sold a couple of companies, my business is primarily construction related but I've also been involved with whisky, wine, golf & military aircraft. I've spent a lot of time in Africa and the Middle East and I have always had an interest in politics and current affairs, this interest has grown significantly over the last 3 years! Most of my time is now spent in Scotland, just outside Dundee, where the political landscape is changing rapidly, hopefully for the better. I have mixed feelings about Scottish Independence. I've done several interviews on TNT Radio and I did a short spot on GB News last summer.
Have we been more damaged than we are prepared to admit by the events of the past three years? Do we confront or ignore it? How do we heal?
The Covid trauma has manifested itself in a variety of different ways. There has been a tendency to ignore it and deny it, but that makes healing impossible. Rachel Maisey discusses how we've been traumatised and what we have to do to recover.
