Once again I got the Steel Beasts Pro urge and decided to head to the mission editor once more. The gorgeous German city of Paderborn has been invaded by those nasty Communists! The US has been tasked to help retake a small town near the city!
If you like Abrams and T-72 and turrets coming off then this is the video for you! This is just a small mission I made myself to play around with, nothing too serious. It was still a lot of fun.
Playing some more Steel Beasts Pro PE with you and in todays video I am explaining some tip and tricks that can help with being able to engage the enemy without exposing your tank to fire and being able to create the pefect 'Hull Down' position.
This is the first of what I hope to be many Steel Beasts Pro tutorial episodes that will help guide new players to be more effective tankers!
Hope you enjoy!

The military has always been a big part of me since I was young and to this day it's still core to my brain and how I am programmed and function. But what is it about warfare and the military that makes me tick? Am I the only one who feels this way?....

Main Battle Tanks need gun ammunition like all other weapons of war. The tank is only as good as the loader that is providing the firepower. The main guns of most modern day tanks require the shells to be loaded either manually by a tank crewman or automatically by a tank auto-loader. The autoloader has flaws as does any tank soldier. And example being the T-90 and the M1A2 Abrams, the vehicles have their own way of fighting on the battlefield.
In this video we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of having such weapon systems and soldiers in a main battle tank.
This is a word for word read off from a website description/article:

I take part in some CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) training with the Canadian Army Reserves. I practice my skills and drills needed to keep myself fighting ready in these kinds of enviroments. We are placed in a gas hut with CS gas (riot gas, tear gas) and then made to "feel the effects" to then ensure we do our drills correctly.
Please be aware: This video is only for informative purposes and not training purposes. Under no circumstance am I a subject matter expert on CBRN/NBC skills and any information in this video is not to be used as reference material.

I have finally completed the final module of the four parts that make up the Canadian Army land based leadership course! I passed with flying colors my Army Junior Leadership Course qualification to allow me to lead soldiers fully in the Canadian Armed Forces. I am proud to have worked with some of the finest soldiers I have met in the CAF on this course and want to thank and congratulate them also on passing this test of leadership, determination and grit.
Well done AJLC 0173 course!

The Merkava series of main battle tanks are used by the Israel Defense Forces. The name comes from Hebrew: "chariot". The tank began development in 1973 and entered official service in 1978. Four main variants of the tank have been deployed. It was first used extensively in the 1982 Lebanon War. The name "Merkava" was derived from the IDF's initial development program name.
The Mark I, operational since 1978, is the original design created as a result of Israel Tal's decision, and was fabricated and designed for mass production. The Mark I weighed 63 tonnes and had a 900 horsepower (670 kW) diesel engine, with a power-to-weight ratio of 14 hp/ton. It was armed with the 105 millimeter M68 main gun (a licensed copy of the British Royal Ordnance L7), two 7.62 mm machine guns for anti-infantry defense, and a 60 mm mortar mounted externally, with its operator not completely protected by the tank's hull.
The Mark II was first introduced into general service in April 1983. While fundamentally the same as the Merkava Mark I, it incorporated numerous small adjustments as a result of the previous year's incursion into Lebanon. The new tank was optimized for urban warfare and low intensity conflicts, with a weight and engine no greater than the Mark I
The Merkava Mark III was introduced in December 1989 and was in production until 2003. As of 2016, the Merkava III is by far the most numerous tank in frontline IDF service. Compared to the Merkava II, it has upgrades to the drivetrain, powertrain, armament, and electronic systems. The most prominent addition was the incorporation of the locally developed IMI 120 mm gun. This gun and a larger 1,200 horsepower (890 kW) diesel engine increased the total weight of the tank to 65 tonnes (143,000 lb), but the larger engine increased the maximum cruising speed to 60 km/h (37 mph)

The British Army in BATUS. We got in some trouble on exercise whilst training in Canada on the prairies! We were told to mask up in full NBC kit and run the full round length of the harbor location.....
"GAS GAS GAS!!"
Gas masks are not easy to run in at all! But it was pretty funny.
I was dying lol! Safe to say we didnt do what we did wrong again! Its hard to breath in the S10 respirator let alone run in them in 34 degree heat haha!
Hope you enjoy!
